07/09/2023;, Aluva: The St. Thomas Quasi Province had the joy of having the First Profession of Antony Thekkinedath and the Perpetual Profession of Amal Kettupurackal, Amal Maliackel, Albin Kavukatt, Jobins Thazhathuvettil and Manu Panthamackal. The celebrations began at 9 am presided over by Fr Shajan Pazhayil, the Major Superior. there were concelebrants from the relatives of brothers who had made their Perpetual Profession. The ceremonies ended at 11.20 am. It was really a time of joy and happiness that Fr Shaju Koonathan gave a good homily collecting all those needed for the growth of the children in the vocational journey and religious pursuit.
After the professions, Mar Mathew Vaniakizhakkel VC, bishop emeritus of Satna Diocese presided over the celebration of the conffering of sacred orders. The ordinations to the minor orders of Lectorate and Acolytate were given to Bros. Amal Kettupurackal and Jobins Thazhathuveeetitl. The Order of Diaconate was conferred on the rest of the three brothers. The invited guests and relatives added colour to the celebrations. The Rogate Ashram, Aluva hosted the celebrations.
