(31 Oct) Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, Secretary and Archivist of St. Matthew Province, conducted a workshop on secretarial and archival tasks. The ongoing formation, which took place online, was mainly intended for the new superiors and local secretaries who have just taken up their duties in this formation year 2023-2024.

(31 October) The Gathering of the Families of Rogationist Priests of the St. Thomas Quasi Province, FAMIGLIA ROGATE, was held in the Malabar Zone (Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode and Wayanad) on 30 October 2023 at the Mananthavady Rogate Bhavan Minor Seminary from 10.30 am to 5 pm. It was the second phase of the programme, the first session of which was held on 14th August 2023 at Rogate Ashram, Aluva. The function began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr Shajan. Vinish Naduvilpeedika, the Superior of Rogate Bhavan, welcomed everyone, and Fr. Fijo Melit delivered the homily. Frs.

On October 30th, 2023, just before lunchtime, Fr. Rene Ramirez, who was the current superior of the Rogatonist Community in Maidstone, VIC, Australia, handed over his leadership to Fr. Gerald Binegas. Fr. Rene was the first person in charge of the Rogatonist Community in Australia. He will now be taking on a new responsibility as a parish priest and community leader in a new post at Shepparton, within the same state of Victoria. Additionally, Fr. Rene will be concluding his appointment as parish priest of Holy Family Parish.

Domenica 29 ottobre 2023, presso la Curia Generalizia dei Rogazionisti a Roma, Mons. Edouard Sinayobye, Vescovo di Cyangugu (Rwanda), al termine della prima sessione del Sinodo dei Vescovi, ha fatto visita al Padre Generale P. Bruno Rampazzo, condividendo il pranzo della Comunità. Il Superiore Generale ha accolto con gioia il prelato, che a sua volta ha ricordato riconoscente la presenza dei Rogazionisti nella sua diocesi e il loro sacrificio e testimonianza in oltre 36 anni di missione. 

Testo: Il 27 ottobre 2023, presso la parrocchia romana dei Santi Antonio e Annibale Maria a Piazza Asti, il Coro della Diocesi di Roma diretto da Mons. Marco Frisina ha eseguito il concerto di beneficenza "La Chiesa e i Sacramenti". Il Coro ha eseguito numerosi brani composti da Mons. Frisina, tratti da testi biblici e liturgici da lui commentati. Il pubblico presente ha sottolineato il proprio gradimento con fragorosi applausi e si è unito al canto del celeberrimo: "Jesus Christ you are my life". Il parroco, P. Pasquale Albisinni, ha concluso la serata con sentiti ringraziamenti.

En ce 29 octobre 2023, la Maison de Formation St Hannibal d'Edéa vibrait au rythme des chants d'allégresse. En présence des parents des séminaristes, la messe solennelle d'ouverture de l'année académique et formative a eu lieu en cette matinée.  le thème qui accompagnera cette année est «Le Sens d'appartenance à la famille Rogationniste». C'est autour d'un repas fraternel que nous avons achevé notre cérémonie.

On October 28, 2023, the Feast of Sts. Simon and Jude, Fr. John Lucas, Provincial Vicar of the St. Matthew Province presided over the mission send-off of Fr. Ruel Desamparado and Fr. Edgar Dacaldacal at the chapel of the St. Hannibal Formation Center in Cebu.

The send-off Mass was attended by some members of the religious community in Cebu. In his homily, Fr. John Lucas emphasized the missionary aspect of being a Rogationist. The missionary spirit comes from the heart of Jesus to respond to the needs of the times.

Il Superiore della Quasi Provincia San Giuseppe, P. Willy Cruz ha incontrato il Vescovo della diocesi di Fréjus-Toulon, Mgr. Dominique Rey il 27 ottobre 2023 al vescovado a Toulon. I due hanno discusso sulla vita pastorale della parrocchia di Barjols affidata alla congregazione dal 2015. Hanno anche discusso sulla possibilità di aprire un’altra comunità nella stessa diocesi per avere una maggiore interazione e fraternità tra i religiosi rogazionisti. Si spera che si possa realizzare questo progetto con la grazia di Dio affinché si propaghi di più il carisma del Rogate.

Papa Francesco ci invita, per impetrare la pace nel mondo, a trascorrere la giornata di domani, venerdì 27 ottobre 2023, in preghiera, e ad unirci spiritualmente in San Piero alle ore 18,00, e in digiuno e penitenza.

25 ottobre 2023 – La giornata si è aperta con la liturgia delle Lodi e la Concelebrazione Eucaristica presieduta dal Superiore della Provincia Sant’Annibale, P. Antonio Leuci. I lavori in assemblea sono stati aperti da un intervento dell’Economo Generale, P. Brizio Giovanni Greco, che ha informato su alcune iniziative avviate nell’Economato Generale introducendosi con l’esigenza che abbiamo nella Congregazione ad evitare di porre gli interventi necessari in modalità di pronto soccorso, ma piuttosto di programmare per tempo con uno sguardo al domani.
