Last May 28, 2017, Ascension of the Lord Sunday, some students of St Mary's Primary School and St Anne's Skills Training Institute received their 1st Holy Communion, the Sacrament of Confirmation and one was baptized by Bishop Rolando Santos at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish. We thank the Lord for this gift and accompany them with our prayers.

Fr. Julius Descartin officially turned over the task of the Responsible of the Missionary Station to Fr. Ricardo Caperiña and of Office of the Parish Priest of the St. Francis Xavier Parish in Parang, Bagac, Bataan to and Fr. Ranny Rodriguez on May 16, 2017, in the presence of Fr. Rogate Charity Center Aluva, 28 May 2017: The Rogate Charity Center conducted the gathering of the childern who received the first holy communion at Rogate Ashram. This gathering became meaningful when it is celebrated together with the feast of the father founder. After 40 years of apostolic presence and service in the Philippines, the Rogationists finally found home in Bicol. Upon invitation of the former Bishop of Daet, and now Archbishop of Lipa, Most Rev. Gilbert Garcera, DD, Fr. Herman Abcede, with the approval of the General Superior, promptly responded to the urgent need for a priest in the above-mentioned local church. On May 28, 2017, Fr. Rogate ashram Aluva, 25 May 2017: The Rogate Ashram community has got a new superior in this year. Rev. Fr. Shibu Kavungal RCJ has taken the responsibility as the superior of Rogate Ashram,  after his fruitful service in the novitiate as superior and novice master. The ceremony of the handing over of the superiorship, held in Rogate Ashram on 25 May 2017, was preceded by Rev. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil RCJ,  the major superior  in the presence of the former superior Rev. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly RCJ and the religious members of the community. Fr.
