Quinquennial Course of Permanent Formation

Rogate Center of Spirituality, Morlupo (Rome) 

     The course is being proposed to make aware of the actual socio-cultural changes and of the consequent necessity to know and assume the new cultural, theological and pastoral categories to enter into dialogue with the men and women of our time.

     Infact, to efficaciously announce and witness the Gospel of the Rogate, we need to “incarnated” to life and culture of the present society, to understand better the languages, orientations, questions and expectations, the lights and shadows, know its signs that annouce the future and enriches the hope in the new world that is, at the same time, gift of God and duty of man.

   The course, approximately lasting for a month, is subdivided into four areas:

  1. The Anthropological-Teological Area: Culture – Cultures – New Ecclesial Culture
  2. The Pastoral-Charismatic Area: Rogationist life and Culture
  3. The Biblical Area: Reading the Bible as “Believer”
  4. The Area of Spirituality and Brotherhood: Marian Pilgrimage and Visit to Important Places of Christianity.
 

The First Week

Pastoral Charismatic Area

Rogationist Life and Culture 
 

      The themes of the week, centered on Rogationist life and culture, are highlightedd and done departing from the Socio-Religious Study “Instances and perspectives for a charismatic mission”, of Fr. Joseph Scarvaglieri. The research offers an important point of departure for the choice of themes starting from experience and presents a more realistic and shared vision overcoming individual point of view.

      The participants to the course are involved in various ways in the treatment of the topics through personal studies and sharing. In fact, in order to think and plan for the future, it is important to begin with experence read scientifically and to personally feel to be called in cause. 
 

1.  Socio-religious study on the state of the Congregation

Objectives: to discover the centrality of the word of God in the journey of faith, to favor the constant reading of the scripture, to educate to study, comprehend, pray the Word, to “savor” it , to live it, to share it, to announce it.

The Area of Spirituality and Brotherhood

Marian Pilgrimage and Visit to Important Christian Places

15-21 July 2007 
 

Pilgrimage to Fatima and Santiago de Compostela, seven days, the visit to the cities and places of spirituality of Portugal and Spain. There will be moments of reflection and specific celebrations.
