(Oct. 25) The newly formed provincial government of the St. Matthew Province received the indications and the documentation from the previous government during the formal turn-over rites at at the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center in Merville, Paranaque. The new and the old Provincial Councils were all present, as well as Father General, Fr. Bruno Rampazzo. Fr. (Oct. 24) The Superior General, Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, together with Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, Fr. Brizio Giovanni Greco, and other Rogationist Confreres celebrated the Eucharist for the Religious Students of the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies in Greencourt, Sucat, Paranaque. During the dinner that followed the Mass, the Religious Students rendered songs and delivered messages to the General Officials. In return, Fr. Greco and Fr. Rampazzo gave their greetings and recommendations.

(Oct. 24) After the courtesy visit to Cardinal Jose Advincula, the Rogationist delegation visited the site of the Mary, Comforter of the Afflicted Parish in Maricaban, Pasay which is offered by the Cardinal for entrustment to the Rogationists. Fr. Orville Cajigal, Provincial Superior, conducted a dialogue with the Church leaders in the presence of the current ecclesiastical administrator (until the Rogationist parish priest is installed). (Oct. 23) The four Filipino Rogationist priests who were ordained yesterday and the five Vietnamese Rogationists who were ordained in Vietnam last August celebrated the Thanksgiving Mass for the gift of Priesthood. These new Priests were companions in their vocation journey at the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies in Parañaque, Philippines. It was a fitting celebration in the context of the World Mission Day.

The St. Matthew Province has a new servant-leadership team which the 53 capitulars of the 3rd Provincial Superior have elected today, Oct. 19, at the Di Francia Auditorium of the Rogationist College Cavite.

The members of the 3rd Provincial Chapter of the St. Matthew Province have re-elected Fr. Orville Cajigal as the Superior of the Circumscription for another four-year term, 2022-2026. His election was confirmed by Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, Superior General, who is the President of the Provincial Chapter, after having consulted the General Councilors.
Fr. Cajigal, 45, was born in Quezon City in 1977. He has been a Rogationist religious for 24 years and a priest for 16 years.
Congratulations! We pray for graces needed in the fulfillment of this service of authority.

His Excellency Mons. Rey Evangelista, Bishop of the Diocese of Imus (Cavite), presided over the Holy Mass on the fifth day of the St. Matthew Provincial Chapter. During the homily, he underlined that “unity” is first of all a unity in the Triune God. This is the foundation of the unity of any Christian community and religious family. He said that unity is the gift of Jesus who prayed to his heavenly Father that his followers would truly be one as He and the Father are one.
