On the Feast of St. Stephen, the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies community hosted the Christmas Party 2022 of the St. Matthew Province. Present during the celebration was a good number of confreres from different SMP Communities in Luzon. The celebration began with the Eucharist, presided by Father Provincial, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ. In the homily, he stressed that St. Stephen proved to live the true spirit of Christmas for he offered his life for the sake of the gospel, for the sake of Christ whose birth we commemorate this Christmas season.

The Rogationist Seminary in Merville, Paranaque (Manila) welcomes young people for a 5-day annual Christmas Vocation Orientation on December 26-30, 2022. These youth met the Rogationists seminarians in the recent vocation campaign and have expressed their desire to discern their vocation. The event offers them moments of input from various speakers, prayer and reflection, dialogue with the formators, and visits to the Rogationist communities.

The Rogationist Seminary in Merville, Paranaque (Manila) organized a Christmas concert of songs and prayers entitled Pasko Naming Hangad (Our Christmas Wish). A Story of Hope. The musical play and prayer concert had two shows at 6 PM and 8 PM that run from December 12 to 18. The proceeds of the concert are for the benefit of the year-long Sunday catechetical program for “Father Hannibal’s Children”, an apostolate of the Seminary which started in the mid-1980s.

Seminario di Manila: Concerto di Natale

 The seminarians of the Rogationist Seminary-Cebu had their vocation campaign last December 11-18, 2022 at their respective parishes and nearby schools. This was after their week of caroling, final exams and Christmas party. Our seminarians had their campaign in the areas of Surigao, Cotabato, Bohol, Dapitan, Ilo-ilo and provinces of Cebu. Siamo alle porte del Santo Natale, e il mio pensiero corre a Voi per felicitarmi  con ciascun lettore  ed amico del Gruppo  che segue con amore e attenzione il cammino di santità del Padre Pantaleone Palma , elevato a Servo di Dio.

Trovandoci nell’ambiente natalizio mi è sembrato opportuno partecipavi una delicata comunicazione che un giorno pervenne al nostro Servo di Dio.

La calligrafia sulla busta era inconfondibile. Era del suo Superiore, chiara e distinta, del “ Padre “ cioè del  Padre Annibale Di Francia.

Il 21 dicembre 2022 si è tenuto il terzo concerto di Natale nella Parrocchia dei Santi Antonio ed Annibale Maria, intitolato "Per te Gesù", con i bambini della parrocchia che hanno eseguito canti natalizi a Gesù Bambino. Il concerto ha avuto un grande successo e ha visto la partecipazione, oltre ai familiari dei bambini, di numeroso pubblico.

Domenica 18 dicembre 2022 nella Parrocchia dei Santi Antonio e Annibale Maria a Piazza Asti la corale "Cantabo Gaudium" della parrocchia romana di San Gregorio VII, diretta dal maestro Massimiliano Gucci, ha eseguito canti natalizi tradizionali e classici antichi. Il folto pubblico ha partecipato entusiasta. Al termine del concerto, sono intervenuti per il ringraziamento il parroco P. Pasquale Albisinni e P. Bruno Rampazzo, Superiore Generale.
