November 29 - Second Day of the Assembly

 (Nov. 30) Fr. Matteo Sanavio , RCJ, the Pontifical Commissioner, echoed to the Religious students of Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies the latest update of the institutional merge with the Gualandi Missionaries of the Deaf and Mute to the Congregation of the Rogationist of the Heart of Jesus. Fr. Matteo narrated to the members of the community the zeal of Fr Hannibal to help those person with disabilities after the World War I and even consulted the founder of the Gualandi Missionaries of the Deaf and Mute on how to make the apostolate better.

"November 30, 2022 - Dearest Fr. Orville, It is with great sadness that I communicate to you the passing of Fr. Rodolfo G. Patiag. After his visit to his relatives in Palawan for a blessing and upon arriving in SABV last Monday afternoon – November 28, he was in pain and could hardly walk because of swelling of his (both) knees caused by allergy. Apparently, the swelling is associated with gout and arthritis as he expressed in his text message to me last November 26.

Archbishop Emeritus of Rabaul, Papua New Guinea, together with him are the priest professor of Don Bosco School of Theology, Fr. Celestino Lingad, Fr. Stephen Placente, Fr. Dennis Antonio Paez and other SDB conferrers.

Oggi 28 novembre, presso la sede della Nunziatura Apostolica a Tirana, alla presenza del Nunzio Apostolico Sua Eccellenza Mons. Luigi Bonazzi e di Sua Eccellenza Mons. Ottavio Vitale Vescovo di Lezhe , Sua Eccellenza l’Ambasciatore dell’Ordine Sovrano di Malta, presso la Repubblica di Albania Dott. Stefano Palumbo, ha conferito a Padre Antonio Leuci, l’onorificenza Croce Pro Piis Meritis al Merito Melitense del Sovrano Ordine di Malta.

On November 28, 2022, the Rogationist Annual Assembly in Our Lady of Guadalupe Delegation began in the Religious Community of Sanger.

Sixteen Rogationist Religious participated, fifteen priests and for the first time one religious Brother, Eduardo Rodriguez. The theme of the Annual Assembly is: Goals for our growth: Vocation Promotion, Religious Life, Apostolate among the Poor; Lights from the XIII General Chapter.

Gli ex allievi Rogazionisti di Roma il 26 novembre  hanno partecipato, come ogni anno, alla celebrazione di una S. Messa in ricordo di ex allievi e familiari degli ex allievi deceduti, ricordando in modo particolare Domenico Lo Bascio che il Signore ha chiamato a se da poco. Domenico è stato presidente nazionale degli ex allievi ed ha segnato la storia degli ex allievi.

En ce 28 novembre 2022, date de la 22ème année de la présence Rogationniste au Cameroun,  les membres du Conseil de la QPSJ se sont réunis en vidéo-conférence pour leur traditionnelle rencontre mensuelle.

Sous la présidence du Père Willy Cruz, Supérieur Majeur, tous les conseillers ont répondu présent pour la rencontre qui s’est déroulée entre 8h14-11h26 GMT+1.

Les confrères ont échangé sur les questions relatives à la vie de la congrégation, de la Quasi-province, des communautés et des confrères selon les différentes sollicitations.

Ad inizio del nuovo anno la Chiesa ci ricorda il nostro impegno per la costruzione della pace nel mondo. E, come ogni anno, la nostra Congregazione propone un nuovo progetto a sostegno di nostre comunità missionarie per far conoscere ai lettori l’impegno di tanti confratelli in terra di missione e aiutarli a realizzare progetti a favore dei loro assistiti.

Siamo testimoni che in tante religioni del mondo vi sono ancora bambini che vivono in situazioni di disagio sociale e familiare.
