Presbiteral Ordination of Rev. Kristian Irvin Omilgo Taok

On August 15, 2014, Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the San Pedro Calungsod Chapel, in the Seaside Project, South Road Properties (SRP), Cebu City, at 9:00 in the morning, Fr. Kristin Irvin Omilgo Taok RCJ was ordained, through the laying on of hands by His Excellency Archbishop Jose Palma, Archbishop of Cebu, to the priesthood.

Fr. Kristian was the first one to be ordained in this newly-built church.
The ordination was simple and touching as people from various parts of the Philippine, including the Rogationist Religious from various communities came to grace the occasion, as well as postulants, FDZ Sisters and UPV members. The good Archbishop shared in his reflection the importance of the ordination as manifestation of God’s love. Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior presented the Papal blessing to the Ordinandus and the Certificate of Gratitude to the parents. Then later he offered to the good Archbishop the statue of St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia for the veneration of the people who would frequent the San Pedro Calungsod Chapel.
At 3:00 in the afternoon at the Rogationist Seminary Cebu, St. Hannibal Formation Center, Fr. Kristian had his First Mass or a Thanksgiving Mass participated by some of the Rogationist priests coming from various communities, relatives, friends and benefactors. It was then followed by a bountiful dinner program for everybody.
