Acceptance of 15 New Postulants at the St. Matthew Province during the Feast of July the First

"With the coming of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the pious Institute was born like a child, in her few first members."

The community of the St. Hannibal Rogate Center celebrated the Feast of July the First, by welcoming 15 new Postulants (2 from the Missionary Station of Vietnam, 3 from the Missionary Station of Indonesia, 4 from the St. Hannibal Formation Center in Cebu City and 6 from the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center in Parañaque City) to the St. Matthew Province, through the Rite of Acceptance incorporated in the Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ - Provincial Councilor on Religious Life, Formation and Vocation Ministry. Fr. Jessie Martirizar, RCJ, Director of the Postulancy Program and his Assistant, Rev. Al John Provido, RCJ, with the Superior of the religious community, Fr. Alex Clemente, RCJ and other concelebrating priests lead the faithful in witnessing the event. The day's affair was highlighted with a prolonged Eucharistic Adoration participated in, as well, by the members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations affiliated to this community. In the afternoon, Fr. Clemente concluded the liturgy, leading the religious in renewing their Consecration to the Most Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, their Divine Superiors. The day ended with festive activities of games, prayers and meal at the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center, whose religious community was joined by those of the St. Hannibal Rogate Center, the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies and the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish.

May this "small caravan..." continue its "journey... always comforted by the presence of the true 'Ark of the Covenant, containing not symbolic manna, but the real living bread came down from heaven'."
