Sanger, December 1, 2021.
This third day started with the Solemn Concelebration in our Parish, together with God’s people. Fr. Antonio Fiorenza, in his homily, quoting the day’s Gospel (Mt 15, 29-37), said that we are here to renew our main commitments as Rogationist Fathers. Our primary commitment is to bring the people to Jesus, especially the most in need of spiritual healing, and serve the people with love and tenderness. At the same time, he stresses the importance of the prayer of God’s people for the priests ‘perseverance in accomplishing their mission and for an increase of vocations. After the Mass, the people enjoyed greeting the priests, especially those who served in this community for some years.
With the morning session, we closed the Assembly, giving practical suggestions on the following points:
- Principal points of the Rogationist Parish Pastoral Plan
- Union of Prayer for Vocations
- Rog Families
- Youth Ministry and Pastoral Care for Vocations
- Mission Appeal
- Adoption at a Distance
After sharing a well-prepared lunch and having an agape gathering, the confreres went to their respective homes.
