Sabato 7 ottobre 2023, alle ore 9:00, nella Cappella del Centro Pastorale della Diocesi di Da Lat, Mons. Dominic Nguyen Van Manh, Vescovo della Diocesi, ha presieduto la cerimonia di ordinazione sacerdotale di tre Diaconi Rogazionisti. Con il Vescovo Dominic hanno concelebrato P. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, Vicario Generale; P. Orville Cajigal, Superiore Provinciale (Provincia di San Matteo) e 50 sacerdoti interni ed esterni alla Congregazione.
Alla Messa hanno partecipato 600 ospiti, tra cui religiosi e religiose, gruppi religiosi, genitori, parenti e amici dei diaconi.
All'inizio della Messa, il vescovo Domenico ha parlato della spiritualità della Congregazione dei Rogazionisti: "La vocazione viene da Dio e Dio invita alla collaborazione di tutti...". Ha ricordato la gioia, la felicità e l'amore della diocesi e di tutti per i nuovi ordinandi di oggi. In particolare, il Vescovo ha ricordato le preghiere e i sacrifici dei loro genitori quando hanno consacrato i loro figli a Dio affinché potessero diventare sacerdoti per il bene della Chiesa.
Nell'omelia, il Vescovo ha espresso il suo pensiero sulle letture riguardanti la missione del popolo eletto di Dio (Ger 4,1-9; 1 Tim 4,12-16; Mt 9,35-10,1). Il significato della cerimonia di ordinazione, insieme al messaggio ai neo-ordinati di vivere pienamente la loro vocazione, è quello di servire gli altri e di riunire tutti i fedeli per vivere come un'unica famiglia.
Padre Peter Hoang Van Dong e padre Joseph Phan Hoang Nguyen, in rappresentanza dei Superiori della Congregazione dei Rogazionisti in Vietnam, hanno chiamato i tre candidati all'ordinazione sacerdotale:
Rev. Francis Xavier Nguyen Phuc Thien, RCJ, della parrocchia Madre del Perpetuo Soccorso, diocesi di Da Lat;
Rev. Joseph Nguyen Dinh Thong, RCJ, della parrocchia di Thanh Da, diocesi di Vinh; e
Rev.r Thomas Nguyen Minh Tai, della parrocchia di Quang Xuan, diocesi di Xuan Loc.
Il vescovo Dominic ha approvato la presentazione e ha ordinato i sacerdoti.
L'atmosfera della Messa è stata luminosa e solenne, con la partecipazione del Coro Teresa della Parrocchia Don Bosco Dalat.

Alcune informazioni sulla Congregazione Rogazionista (RCJ)
La Congregazione è stata fondata da Sant'Annibale Maria Di Francia nel 1897 a Messina, in Italia. Sono sacerdoti e fratelli religiosi che dedicano la loro vita a servire Dio e la Chiesa con la spiritualità del Rogate.
La Congregazione è arrivata in Vietnam il 14 giugno 2003. Dopo 20 anni, il numero attuale di religiosi vietnamiti è di 14 sacerdoti; 5 di voti perpetui; 15 di voti temporanei; 4 novizi; 3 postulanti; 7 aspiranti in filosofia e 5 studenti in fase di discernimento.
Il lavoro pastorale della Congregazione consiste nell'organizzare incontri, guidare, condividere e aiutare i giovani a discernere la loro vocazione. La Congregazione si occupa anche di curare e aprire molte case per orfani e bambini svantaggiati, fornendo loro una buona educazione intellettuale e umana. La Congregazione partecipa anche al lavoro pastorale nelle parrocchie.
Le comunità presenti in Vietnam sono oggi 3: la Comunità di San Michele a Saigon (Arcidiocesi di Ho Chi Minh City); la Comunità del Buon Pastore (Teologato) nella città di Thu Dau Mot (Diocesi di Phu Cuong); la Comunità Rogate - sede della Congregazione - nella città di Da Lat (Diocesi di Dalat).
Priestly Ordination at the Pastoral Center of the Diocese of Dalat
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Pastoral Center of Da Lat Diocese, Bishop Dominic Nguyen Van Manh, Bishop of the Diocese, presided over the priestly ordination ceremony of three Rogationist Deacons. Concelebrating with Bishop Dominic were Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, Vicar General; Fr. Orville Cajigal, Provincial Superior (Province of St. Matthew) and 50 priests from within and outside the Congregation.
The Mass was attended by 600 guests including religious men and women, religioius groups, parents, relatives, and friends of the deacons.
At the beginning of the Mass, Bishop Dominic spoke about the spirituality of the Rogationist Congregation: "The vocation comes from God and God invites everyone's collaboration...". He mentioned the joy, happiness and love of the diocese and of everyone for today's new ordinands. In particular, the Bishop mentioned the prayers and sacrifices of their parents when they consecrated their children to God so that they could become priests for the good of the Church.
In his homily, the Bishop expressed his thoughts on the readings on the mission of God's chosen people (Jer 4:1-9; 1 Tim 4:12-16; Mt 9:35-10:1). The meaning of the ordination ceremony, along with the message to the newly ordained to live their vocation fully, is to serve others and to gather all the faithful to live as one family.

Some information about the Rogationist Congregation (RCJ)
The Congregation was founded by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia in 1897 in Messina, Italy. They are religious priests and brothers who dedicate their lives to serve God and the Church with the Rogate spirituality.
The Congregation arrived in Vietnam on June 14, 2003. After 20 years, the current number of Vietnamese religious is 14 priests; 5 in perpetual vows; 15 in temporary vows; 4 novices; 3 postulants; 7 aspirants in philosophy and 5 students in the stage of discernment.
The pastoral work of the Congregation consists of organizing meetings, guiding, sharing and helping young people to discern their vocation. The Congregation also cares for and opens many homes for orphans and disadvantaged children, providing them with a good intellectual and human education. The Congregation also participates in pastoral work in parishes.
The number of communities in Vietnam today is 3: the Community of St. Michael in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese); the Community of the Good Shepherd (Theologate) in Thu Dau Mot city (Phu Cuong Diocese); the Rogate Community - headquarters of the Congregation - in Da Lat City (Dalat Diocese).
