In a celebration, which officially concluded the year-long commemoration of the 40 years of presence and service in the Philippines, the Rogationists of the St. Matthew Province welcomed four new priests: Fr. Jorem Bellen, Fr. Zander Conson, Fr. Jose Gasta and Fr. Jonrey Lauron. Through the Imposition of the Hands and the Invocation of the Holy Spirit by Most Rev. Socrates Villegas, DD, Archbishop of Ligayen-Dagupan, they were ordained priests at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Multinational Village, Parañaque City, on November 25, 2017.

Around 2,500 young people from the Diocese of Imus participated the 10th Diocesan Vocation Festival with the theme “The Story of Our Vocation: I love vocation, i-like, i-follow, i-share,” held at Rogationist College Silang, Cavite last November 18, 2017. It was a whole day activity filled with joy, generosity, stories of God’s encounter, love and prayers. Fr. Danny Montana, RCJ., the Principal and Vice Rector of Rogationist College unlocked the event with a joyful and warm welcome to all the participants.

SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON CHILD PROTECTION POLICY (DAY 1)
The first day of the Seminar-Workshop on Child Protection Policy kicked-off with the welcome remarks and presentation of the objectives by Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provincial Councilor on the Sector of Charity and Missions. With that, he welcomed about 30 participants gathered for the 3-day workshop held at the Oasis of Prayer, Silang, Cavite.

As an integral part of their formation, our Postulants are going to spend a period of “Apostolic Exposure” in some of our Local Communities. This is a practical learning experience which gives the Postulants an opportunity to be directly involved in the life and activities of the Community particularly those related to the prayer for vocations, the diffusion of this spirit of prayer, as well as in being good workers by committing themselves in the works of promotion of the little ones and the poor.

Dearest, Today, as we celebrate the World Mission Day, we would like to share to you the latest issue of the supplementary leaflet of the "Friends of Fr. Joseph Aveni" for this month of October 2017.

Ilocos Norte October 6-11, 2017
Organized by Fr. Ariel Tecson, the Provincial Councilor for the sector on Religious Life, Formation and Pastoral Care for Vocations, the annual encounter of the Religious in Practical Training of the St. Matthew Province commenced, with the blessing of the Provincial Superior, Fr. Herman Abcede.
This year's event, with the theme "Oramus et Servimus: Communion in Communities", set in Ilocos Norte on October 6-11, 2017, was participated in by 21 of the 25 practical trainees of the Province.

Papua Nuova Guinea: The Parish of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in the Rogationist Mission Complex in Sideia-Alotau, Papua New Guinea celebrates its Golden Jubilee Anniversary on September 24, 2017. The theme of the celebration is "Sailing with Christ beyond 50 years."
The activities consisted in the recitation of the Rosary and Procession, the Festive Holy Mass presided by Fr Henry Ramos, RCJ, Parish Priest. In his homily, he emphasized the importance of celebrating a Jubilee year by singing the song "the Great Jubilee."

Headed by the Provincial Councilor for the Sector on Missions and Charity, Fr. Orville Cajigal, the St. Matthew Province resumed with its attempt to draft a Directory for all its educational institutions – it now calls collectively as the “Association of Rogationist Catholic Educational Communities in the Philippines or ARCECP” – by organizing its 2nd Rogationist Educators Workshop on October 2-4, 2017, a sequel to first held last February 15-17, 2017. Fr. Cajigal facilitated the participants Orientation about the entire event.
