On January 29, 2022 at 9:30 AM, a milestone in SHEC is celebrated. This is graced by the presence of Fr. Orville Cajigal, Provincial Superior, Fr. Ed Corosa, Parish Priest and collaborative Rogationists: Fr. Arlene Gumangan, Fr. Bong Dammay, Fr. Alex Poblador, Fr. Ronald Paulino, Fr. Elmer Dula, Fr. Noel Balquin, Fr. TJ Lancin, Fr. Rito Ybañez and Fr. Chris Melvic Floralde and several leaders of the Rogate groups. Some collaborators are also present. The event is held at the St. Hannibal Condominium, Phase 17, 580 E. Cornejo St., Malibay, Pasay City. The theme is ‘SHEC@18 – Gifted and united to give more: Active Rogate Servant Leaders (RoSeL) through prayer and charity.’ The SHEC has been gifted among others with 476 homes for 476 poor families with a total of more or less 2856 persons. These have come into reality because of God’s providence and with the generous assistance of many collaborators who are considered as members of the UPV-Praying Partners Everywhere (UPV-PPE) from the government, religious and private sectors. They have poured out their assistance for the Enhanced Charitable Quality (ECQ) to realize the SHEC’s projects. The SHEC is united with all Rogationists, UPV-PPE and with all the Rogate groups: children, youth, singles, moms, dads, couples, families and seniors. During the SHEC@18, the aim is to give more to finish the following with God’s providence: 180 more homes, 180 scholars for the Rogate children and youth, 180 medical kits for the Rogate seniors, 8000 children and seniors for the feeding program, 180 job opportunities, 18 plants for every family with a total of 8568 plants (ornamentals, vegetables and herbs), and many more. The accomplishments and plans of the SHEC are found in the following video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_zoPvO6ya8 . A million thanks to God and to all who have been part of the life of the SHEC in 18 years!
