The Rogationist Center of Studies, Aluva hosted on 31st October SATSANG 2013, a gathering of all the religious and seminarians in and around Aluva. (satsang, a traditional activity in the Indian spiritual context, meaning "being with good/righteous companions." ) We have reflected this year about the theme; "Live the Proclamation, A Papal Paradigm!" This year 350 brothers from 16 seminaries and all their formators took part in the event. Bishop Abraham Mar Julius, the Syro Malankara Bishop of Muvattupuzha Kerala, inaugurated the gathering with the Holy Eucharist and he shared in his intervention about the new style of evangelization as envisioned by Pope Francis. The gathering continued with the inspirational talk by Dr. Augustine Pamplani, rector of Little Flower Seminary, Aluva and a sharing followed among the brothers. In the afternoon, a colorful stage performance and games among the brothers made the gathering memorable event. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly, welcomed the bishop, staff and students, Fr. Shajan, Vicar, St.Thomas quasi Province, Sr. Liza, Superior General of Carmelite Congregation graced the occasion with their words of encouragement. Fr. Thomas, Edayal, Rector's Forum President proposed the vote of thanks. we concluded the day with coffee and a video presentation of the day.
