27-02-2022 - A blessed day, Father! I am, again, communicating with you on behalf of Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provincial Superior, as previously assured, to give you updates on the arrival of Fr. Joseph Hoang Xuan Huong and the 2 Vietnamese Novices and 5 Vietnamese Postulants.
Early dawn today, February 27, 2022, with the assistance of a friend from the Bureau of Immigration and another in a travel agency in processing the necessary documents, the Vietnamese safely arrived in the Philippines.
From the airport Fr. Huong was accompanied directly to the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies, where he is assigned as Assistant Prefect of the Religious Students, while the Novices and Postulants were brought to the St. Hannibal Rogate Center. After a little rest, Fr. Cajigal will personally accompany the Novices to the Novitiate in Silang, Cavite this morning, to entrust them to Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ, Novice Master, and to be with the Filipino Novices, with whom they will spend that rest of this formative year preparing for their First Profession.
In coordination with Fr. King Cena, RCJ, Delegate ad personam in Vietnam, Fr. Cajigal, with the consent of the St. Matthew Provincial Council, will soon identify what specific assignment Fr. Joseph Nguyen Truong Thinh, RCJ ad hoc Novice Master in Vietnam, will assume after his Novices left.
Again, with this development, kindly, give us instructions on how should the St. Matthew Province deal with the status of the ad hoc Novitiate in Vietnam, so we can take the necessary action.
Thank you so much, Father, for your constant prayers and support, and may God bless us all always!
