Dearest, The former auxiliary bishop of Ernakulam-Angamaly archdiocese and the present bishop of Palakkad diocese came to visit Rogate Ashram, on his way back to Palakkad from Ernakulum. In the year 1987, the bishop Jacob laid the foundation stone for the construction of Rogate Ashram. The bishop in his conversation with Fr.Shajan, expressed his desire to begin an English medium school in his diocese. He invited us to think and study this possibility of realizing this apostolate in our land of Attappady. The bishop said, starting a school in the poor area of Attappady will be a great help for the people and a concrete apostolate for the needy, according to our charism. The bishop enjoyed a cup of tea together and we exchanged the wishes of Christmas.
