November 9, 2024 – San Fernando, Cebu - In the afternoon of November 9, the Ordination Day, Fr. Gilbert Ben celebrated his Thanksgiving Mass at the San Isidro Labrador Parish, San Fernando, Cebu. Parishioners and the family and friends of Fr. Gilbert Ben came to celebrate the gift of priestly vocation of their ‘katigilungsod.’ After a brief parade, Fr. GB, as he is fondly called, presided over his first Eucharistic Liturgy. Fr. King Cena, RCJ preached at the liturgy.
Fr. GB paid tribute to those who became part of their vocation journey and those who helped in the preparations both Ordination and the Thanksgiving Mass. Special thanks to the Team of Pastors of the San Isidro Labrador Parish, headed by Msgr. Alfredo Romanillos.
