Il 1° settembre, la diocesi di Maumere e la Congregazione dei Rogazionisti del Cuore di Gesù hanno firmato una convenzione, segnando ufficialmente l'inizio del servizio pastorale dei Rogazionisti nella diocesi.
Padre Orville Cajigal, Superiore della Provincia San Matteo, autorizzato da Padre Bruno Rampazzo, Superiore Generale dei Rogazionisti, ha firmato l'accordo con Monsignor Edwaldus Martinus Sedu, vescovo di Maumere, presso la residenza vescovile. A questo evento storico, che segna il primo ministero parrocchiale della Congregazione in Indonesia, hanno partecipato padre Herbert Magbuo, responsabile della missione dei Rogazionisti in Indonesia, e diversi confratelli. Erano presenti anche il parroco della parrocchia di Maria Immacolata, padre Arkadius Dhosa, e altri sacerdoti diocesani del Vicariato.
Secondo l'accordo, i padri Frederikus Yoris Ndawi e Yoseph Emanuel Rua collaboreranno nella parrocchia di Maria Immacolata, situata a circa 25 chilometri dal centro della città di Maumere.
Indonesia: pastoral collaboration with the Diocese of Maumere
On September 1, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Maumere and the Congregation of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus signed a Memorandum of Agreement, officially marking the beginning of the Rogationists' pastoral service in the diocese. Father Orville Cajigal, Superior of the St. Matthew Province, authorized by Father Bruno Rampazzo, Superior General of the Rogationists, signed the agreement with Monsignor Edwaldus Martinus Sedu, the bishop of Maumere, at the bishop's residence. In attendance at this historic event, which marks the first parish ministry of the Congregation in Indonesia, were Fr. Herbert Magbuo, responsible for the Rogationist mission in Indonesia, and several confreres. Also in attendance were the parish priest of Mary Immaculate Parish, Fr. Arkadius Dhosa, and other diocesan priests of the Vicariate.
According to the agreement, Fathers Frederikus Yoris Ndawi and Yoseph Emanuel Rua will collaborate at Mary Immaculate Parish, located around 25 kilometers from Maumere's city center.
