On October 30th, 2023, just before lunchtime, Fr. Rene Ramirez, who was the current superior of the Rogatonist Community in Maidstone, VIC, Australia, handed over his leadership to Fr. Gerald Binegas. Fr. Rene was the first person in charge of the Rogatonist Community in Australia. He will now be taking on a new responsibility as a parish priest and community leader in a new post at Shepparton, within the same state of Victoria. Additionally, Fr. Rene will be concluding his appointment as parish priest of Holy Family Parish.
Starting from November 1st, 2023, Fr. Gerald Binegas will take over the role of parish priest at Holy Family Parish. Fr. Gerald has also passed on his duties as community treasurer to Fr. Huy Nguyen. The turnover activity was witnessed by Fr. Alex Clemente, who is the priest in charge of the Missionary Station in Melton South, VIC, Australia.
During lunch, Fr. Ruel Desamparado was welcomed as he arrived early in the morning to prepare for his role as assistant pastor in Shepparton, working alongside Fr. Rene.
