Fr. Noe Agpalsa, un nuovo missionario rogazionista, è arrivato nella Provincia di Milne Bay, Papua Nuova Guinea, il 27 luglio 2024, dalle Filippine, accompagnato da P. Paul John Mapacpac. P. Jose Roque Arreza li ha accolti all'aeroporto e poi si è recato nella città di Alotau per incontrare il Vescovo della Diocesi, Sua Eccellenza Rolando Santos, D.D., e alcuni missionari e amici filippini. Erano presenti anche P. Efren Suralta, CM, Suor Esther Pizzaras, DCV, e i signori Ernie e Mary Ann Castro. In seguito, il Vescovo Rolando li ha accompagnati al molo per il viaggio in barca verso il Centro Missionario dell'Isola di Sideia.
All'arrivo al molo del Centro Missionario di Sideia, P. Welbert Suarez e Diac. Lorgin Hernaez, insieme agli studenti e alla comunità locale, li hanno accolti calorosamente con danze, canti e preghiere. Fr. Agpalsa e P. Mapacpac si sono poi recati in chiesa per ringraziare Dio per il loro viaggio sicuro e per chiedere la benedizione per una missione fruttuosa.
Continuiamo a ringraziare il Signore della messe per averci mandato dei missionari a lavorare nella grande messe. Affidiamo il nuovo team del Centro Missionario Sideia a Nostra Signora del Sacro Cuore, Patrona del Centro Missionario, e a Sant'Annibale Maria Di Francia per una missione fruttuosa.
A new Rogationist missionary arrives in Papua New Guinea
Bro. Noe Agpalsa, a new Rogationist missionary, arrived in Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea on July 27, 2024, from the Philippines, accompanied by Fr. Paul John Mapacpac. Fr. Jose Roque Arreza welcomed them at the airport and then proceeded to the town of Alotau to meet the Bishop of the Diocese, His Excellency Rolando Santos, D.D., and some Filipino missionaries and friends. Also present were Fr. Efren Suralta, CM, Sr. Esther Pizzaras, DCV, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie & Mary Ann Castro. Afterward, Bishop Rolando drove them to the wharf for the boat ride to the Mission Center on the Island of Sideia.
Upon arrival at the wharf of the Sideia Mission Center, Fr. Welbert Suarez and Dcn. Lorgin Hernaez, the students, and the local community warmly welcomed them with dances, songs and prayers. Bro. Agpalsa and Fr. Mapacpac then went to the church to thank God for their safe journey and to ask for blessings for a fruitful mission.
Let us continue to thank the Lord of the harvest for sending us missionaries to work in the great harvest. Let us entrust the new team of the Sideia Mission Center to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Patron of the Mission Center, and St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia for a fruitful mission!
