(29 giugno) Nella solennità dei Santi Pietro e Paolo, sono iniziate ufficialmente le 50 ore di adorazione eucaristica nelle comunità della Provincia San Matteo, che finiranno la mattina del 1° luglio, in occasione della festa del Primo Luglio per la Famiglia del Rogate. Trentatre comunità religiose, parrocchie, stazioni missionarie e presenze missionarie della Circoscrizione San Matteo in Australia, Corea del Sud, Filippine, Indonesia, Papua Nuova Guinea, Stati Uniti e Vietnam si sono alternate nell'adorazione del Santissimo Sacramento per 50 ore consecutive.
Il noviziato rogazionista San Giovanni Berchmans ha avuto l'onore di aprire questa solenne celebrazione durante il tempo a loro assegnato, dalle 8:00 alle 10:00 del 29 giugno. La celebrazione è stata presieduta da padre Jessie Martirizar, RCJ, maestro dei novizi. La celebrazione della Liturgia delle Ore e il programma preparato hanno animato il flusso liturgico, al quale hanno partecipato attivamente i novizi uscenti e quelli entranti, contribuendo alla riverenza e alla grazia della celebrazione mentre erano uniti in preghiera davanti al Santissimo Sacramento.
Questo è il secondo anno di questa pratica devozionale che fa parte della preparazione triennale al 50° anniversario dell'inizio della presenza e della missione dei Rogazionisti nelle Filippine e in Asia.
50 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration
(June 29) On the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, the 50 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration across the communities of the St. Matthew Province officially commenced and will culminate on the morning of July 1, marking the Feast of July First for the Family of the Rogate. Thirty-three Rogationist communities, parishes, missionary stations and missionary presences of Circumscription in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, South Korea, the United States, and Vietnam took turns adoring the Blessed Sacrament for 50 consecutive hours.
The St. John Berchmans Rogationist Novitiate had the honor of opening this solemn observance during their designated time from 8:00–10:00 AM. The celebration was presided over by Fr. Jessie Martirizar, RCJ, the Novice Master. The celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours and the prepared scheme animated the liturgical flow which was actively participated by the outgoing and incoming novices, contributing to the reverence and grace of the celebration as they united in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
This is the second year of this devotional practice as part of the triennium preparation for the 50th anniversary of the start of the Rogationist presence and mission in the Philippines and Asia.
