(29 agosto) I suddiaconi Shone Perukunnel e Mathew Manalel hanno ricevuto l'Ordine del Diaconato attraverso il sacro rito dell'imposizione delle mani da parte di Mons. John Vadakel, Vescovo Emerito della Diocesi di Bijnor, nella cappella del Rogate Ashram, Aluva, Kerala. P. Aneesh Kannampuzha, Rettore dello Studentato Filosofico-Teologico, ha dato il benvenuto al Vescovo. Poi, invocando la presenza del Signore che è la luce del mondo, il Vescovo e i celebranti insieme agli ordinandi e alle madri dei due candidati hanno acceso la lampada di ottone per dare inizio alla celebrazione. P. Shajan Pazhayil, Superiore Maggiore della Quasi Provincia San Tommaso, è stato l'Arcidiacono e P. Aneesh Kannampuzha ha concelebrato con il Vescovo e l'Arcidiacono sull'altare. Erano presenti sacerdoti e suore provenienti da diverse comunità e parrocchie degli Ordinandi. P. Robin Arackaparambil è stato il maestro di cerimonia e P. Lijo Kalarickal il commentatore. Dopo la liturgia, i nuovi diaconi sono stati accolti nell'auditorium del Rogate Ashram per la festa. P. Varghese, Vicario Provinciale e gli ospiti si sono congratulati con i nuovi diaconi. Congratulazioni speciali vanno al Rettore del Rogate Ashram e al suo team, insieme ai fratelli e ai seminaristi, per la meravigliosa preparazione e decorazione dell'intera celebrazione. India: Diaconal Ordination
(August 29) Subdeacons Shone Perukunnel and Mathew Manalel received the Holy Order of Diaconate through the sacred rite of the imposition of hands by Most Rev. John Vadakel, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Bijnor, in the chapel of Rogate Ashram, Aluva, Kerala. Fr. Aneesh Kannampuzha, Rector of the Philosophical-Theological Studentate, welcomed the Bishop. Then, invoking the presence of the Lord who is the light of the world, the Bishop and the celebrants along with the ordinandi and the mothers of the two candidates lit the brass lamp to begin the celebration. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, Major Superior of St. Thomas Quasi Province was the Archdeacon and Fr. Aneesh Kannampuzha concelebrated with the Bishop and Archdeacon at the altar. There were priests and sisters from different communities and parishes of the Ordinandi. Robin Arackaparambil was the Master of Ceremonies and Fr. Lijo Kalarickal was the commentator. After the liturgy, the new deacons were felicitated in the auditorium of Rogate Ashram for the feast. Fr. Varghese, Vicar Provincial and well-wishers congratulated the new deacons. Special congratulations go to the Rector of Rogate Ashram and his team along with the brothers and seminarians for the wonderful preparation and decoration of the entire celebration.
