SUPPLICA SNAPS | Here are some snaps from the Supplica, a pious practice handed down by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia since January 1888 to the Rogationists and the Daughters of Divine Zeal.
In the Supplica, we thank the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus, who has guided and given us the graces that enabled us to go through the previous year. Together with thanksgiving are also petitions to continue his loving accompaniment as we face another year.
This devout practice is part of celebrating the Feast of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, done every 31st January in the Rogationist Liturgical Proper. The Father Di Francia Center of Studies began the feast with the Lauds and the Eucharistic Celebration in the morning, presided by Fr. Herman Abcede, RCJ. After breakfast, at 10:00 am, the Supplica began. Fr. Herman also presided over the Eucharistic Adoration and the Supplica. Present also were members of the UPV and several Rogate Youth. A simple lunch followed after the moment of prayer and thanksgiving.
