(17 marzo) È stata firmata una Convenzione (Memorandum of Agreement - MOA) tra l'Arcidiocesi di Port Moresby e i Rogazionisti - Provincia San Matteo, che stabilisce la presenza della comunità rogazionista nella capitale. Si tratta della seconda presenza rogazionista nel Paese, la prima è il Centro Missionario sull'isola di Sideia.
La cerimonia di firma si è svolta presso il St. Joseph International Catholic College (SJICC) - Port Moresby ed è stata onorata dalla presenza del Cardinale Ribat, di P. Justine Nenat, SVD, Vicario Generale dell'Arcidiocesi e dei rappresentanti della Provincia San Matteo, guidati da P. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Superiore Provinciale, P. Zander Conson, RCJ, Direttore Esecutivo del SJICC, P. Welbert Suarez, RCJ, Superiore del Centro Missionario Sideia, e Fr. Noe Agpalsa, RCJ, collaboratore.
Rogationist presence in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
(March 17) A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between the Archdiocese of Port Moresby and the Rogationists - St. Matthew Province, establishing the presence of the Rogationist community in the capital. It is the second Rogationist presence in the country, the first being the Mission Center on the island of Sideia.
The signing ceremony took place at St. Joseph International Catholic College (SJICC) - Port Moresby and was honored by the presence of Cardinal Ribat, Fr. Justine Nenat, SVD, Vicar General of the Archdiocese and representatives of the Rogationist St. Matthew Province led by Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provincial Superior, Fr. Zander Conson, RCJ, SJICC Executive Director, Fr. Welbert Suarez, RCJ, Superior of the Sideia Mission Center, and Bro. Noe Agpalsa, RCJ, collaborator.
