As an integral part of their formation, our Postulants are going to spend a period of “Apostolic Exposure” in some of our Local Communities. This is a practical learning experience which gives the Postulants an opportunity to be directly involved in the life and activities of the Community particularly those related to the prayer for vocations, the diffusion of this spirit of prayer, as well as in being good workers by committing themselves in the works of promotion of the little ones and the poor.
Today, October 24, 2017, the Postulants had their simple rite of sending-off to the Communities of their exposure. This was done during the Holy Mass presided by the Postulant Director, Fr. Jessie Martirizar, RCJ. This year, there are six (6) houses where the Exposure will be realized: St. Lawrence the Deacon Parish (Ilocos Norte), St. Catherine of Siena Parish (Pangasinan), Our Lady of the Pillar Parish (Pangasinan), St. Francis Xavier and St. Hannibal Mary di Francia Parish (Bataan), St. Anthony's Boys Village (Cavite), and St. Anthony's Boys Village (Davao).
Let us accompany them with our prayers with the hope that this experience would lead them to “a deeper communion with us, better knowledge of the life and apostolate of the Congregation and more mature discernment about their vocation”.
