Fr. Zack Bertrand Ayangma RCJ, the pastor of the Sacred Heart Parish in Kitiwum which the Diocese of Kumbo (Cameroon) has entrusted to the Congregation, sent several photos of the various activities of the community of believers to update us of the current situation there. Last year, the English-speaking zone of Cameroon has experienced critical moments of conflicts provoked by secessionist movements. Our Parish was not spared from violence which has greatly affected the life of the parishioners. The photos give us a glimpse of the hope that the situation will continue to improve, and that reconciliation and peace will soon be achieved.
The photos present the following activities:
April 12, 2019: Parish celebration of the World Youth Day 2019.
September 14, 2019: recollection of the Chong Group on the occasion of the Exaltation of the Cross.
November 24, 2019: Christ the King procession at the Parish grounds.
Christmas 2019: recollection and Christmas gathering of the youth at the Parish Church and at the Kaiy out-station.
