Il Seminary Meet (Programma di Incontro Formativo per tutti i formandi) per l'anno 2024 si è tenuto al Rogate Ashram dal 3 al 4 gennaio 2024. Il titolo dell'incontro era ESPERANZA, che in spagnolo significa speranza o fiducia. Nel pomeriggio del 3 gennaio, P. Lijo Kalarickal, Vice Superiore dell'Ashram del Rogate e Prefetto degli studenti di Filosofia, ha dato il benvenuto a tutti i partecipanti all'incontro. Poi l'incontro è stato inaugurato dal Superiore Maggiore, P. Shajan Pazhayil, dopo l'accensione della lampada da parte sua, di P. Robin e di tre rappresentanti dei fratelli di Teologia, Filosofia e Seminario Minore. Poi P. Robin, Consigliere per la Formazione, ha augurato il meglio a ESPERANZA 2K24. Subito dopo l'inaugurazione, l'incontro è stato benedetto dalla presenza e dalla conferenza del Rev. Padre Bastian Pozholiparmabil, della Diocesi di Trichur. Padre Bastian ha sottolineato la necessità di essere santi e obbedienti al Signore e ai superiori per condurre noi stessi e gli altri al cielo con la speciale chiamata al sacerdozio. Il resto della giornata è stato ben organizzato con giochi, preghiere e altre attività edificanti come programmi culturali e sessioni per rompere il ghiaccio. Il giorno successivo è iniziato con la preghiera e la meditazione. Dopo la colazione, si è svolta la gara a quiz, seguita dal discorso del Superiore Maggiore, il principale responsabile della formazione. Dopo l'incontro con P. Shajan, è stata celebrata la Santa Eucaristia con P. Shajan come celebrante principale e con i Pp. Vinu, Vineesh, Lijo Kalarickal e Robin come concelebranti. Anche Mons. Amal ha partecipato alla Messa. P. Vinu ha tenuto l'omelia e P. Robin ha ringraziato tutti per gli sforzi fatti per il successo dell'evento.
Come suggerisce il titolo, l'evento ha riempito il cuore di tutti con il pensiero che ognuno di noi è una SPERANZA del Signore e della Congregazione, e quindi ognuno di noi ha il dovere di preservare questa SPERANZA - confidando nel Signore.
Annual Meeting of Formands in Initial Formation
The Seminary Meet (Formative Encounter Program for all those in formation) for the year 2024 was held at Rogate Ashram from January 3-4, 2024. The title of the meeting was ESPERANZA, which means hope or trust in Spanish. On the afternoon of January 3rd, Fr. Lijo Kalarickal, Vice Superior of Rogate Ashram and Prefect of the Philosophy students, welcomed everyone to the meeting. Then the meeting was inaugurated by the Major Superior, Fr. Shajan Pazhayil after lighting the lamp by him, Fr. Robin and three representatives of the brothers from Theology, Philosophy and Minor Seminary. Then Fr. Robin, the Councilor for Formation, wished ESPERANZA 2K24 all the best. Immediately after the inauguration, the gathering was blessed with the presence and presentation of Rev. Fr. Bastian Pozholiparmabil, of the Diocese of Trichur. Fr. Bastian pointed out the need to be holy and obedient to the Lord and the superiors to lead ourselves and others to heaven with the special call to the priesthood. The rest of the day was well organized with games, prayers, and other uplifting activities of cultural programs and ice-breaking sessions. The next day began with prayer and meditation. After breakfast, the quiz competition was held, followed by the talk of the Major Superior, the main responsible for the formation. After the meeting with Fr. Shajan, the Holy Eucharist was celebrated with Fr. Shajan as the main celebrant and Frs. Vinu, Vineesh, Lijo Kalarickal and Robin as concelebrants. Msgr. Amal also participated in the Mass. Fr. Vinu gave the homily and Fr. Robin thanked everyone for their efforts to make the event a success.
As the title suggests, the event filled everyone's heart with the thought that everyone is a HOPE of the Lord and of the Congregation, and therefore everyone is all the more DUTYFUL to preserve THAT HOPE - TRUSTING IN THE LORD.
