Circa 50 sacerdoti della Quasi Provincia San Tommaso Quasi hanno partecipato al programma di formazione permanente di tre giorni presso l'Hope Retreat Center di Angamaly, Kerala, India. La Provincia ha organizzato il programma in due gruppi, dal 5 al 7 settembre e dal 9 all'11 settembre. P. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, Consigliere Generale per la Vita Religiosa, ha facilitato i primi due giorni del programma, che si è concentrato sul tema dell'identità del sacerdote rogazionista, fondata sull'identità carismatica ed espressa nella spiritualità e nel ministero del sacerdote. Il terzo giorno è stato dedicato al dialogo tra i partecipanti e il Consiglio Provinciale. I partecipanti provenivano da diverse comunità, altri da regioni lontane, come il nord (Punjab) e il nord-est (Assam) dell'India. È stata un'occasione di grazia per sostenersi a vicenda come confratelli e riaccendere la fiamma della vocazione sacerdotale rogazionista nel continuo cammino come "memoria vivente del modo di esistere e di agire del Cristo del Rogate" (Cost. 1), come Apostoli del Rogate e Operai nella Messe del Signore (cfr. Documento del XIII Capitolo Generale).
India: Ongoing Formation for Rogationist Priests
About 50 priests of the St. Thomas Quasi Province participated in a three-day ongoing formation program at the Hope Retreat Center in Angamaly, Kerala, India. The Province organized the program in two groups, September 5-7 and September 9-11. Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, General Councilor for Religious Life, facilitated the first two days of the program, which focused on the theme of the identity of the Rogationist priest, founded on the charismatic identity and expressed in the spirituality and ministry of the priest. The third day was dedicated to dialogue between the participants and the Provincial Council. The participants came from the different communities, others came from afar, like the north (Punjab) and the northeast (Assam) regions of India. It was an occasion of grace to support each other as confreres and rekindle the flame of the Rogationist priestly vocation in the continuing journey as "living memorial of the being and acting of the Christ of the Rogate" (Const. 1), as Apostles of the Rogate and Laborers in the Lord's harvest (cf. 13th General Chapter Document)..
