The Rogationist St.Thomas Quasi Province celebrated the ordination to the Diaconate of Bro. Sibin poovely and Bro. Fijo Melit. The Bishop emeritus Mar Mathew Vaniyakizhekkel was the ordaining prelate. The major superior, Fr. Shajan pazhayil assisted during the celebration as the archdeacon. The superior of the house, Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly expressed a warm welcome to the bishop and all those who joined in the celebration. Everybody enjoyed the table fellowship and expressed best wishes the new deacons.

May 31, 2016 – Two brothers, Bro. Sibin Poovely and Bro. Fijo Malit, will be ordained deacons today at Rogate Ashram by his excellency most Rev. Bishop Mathew Vaniyakizhekkel. Representatives from all the rogationist communities Daughters of Divine Zeal, friends and benefactors will join in the ordination ceremony.

The seminarians leaving for Nalgonda for their formative stage, postulancy. The Rogate Bhavan community, Manathawady expressed their gratitude to Fr. Sabu for the fruitful commitment fulfilled as the superior of the community. The community wished the postulants a fruitful formative experience at nalgonda as they leave for this formative stage. Fr. Sabu accompanied the seminarians to Nalgonda.

Today 10 brothers will make their perpetual profession and 26 brothers will make their renewal of profession at Rogate Ashram Aluva. The Rogationist St. Thomas Quasi Province rejoices and give thanks to God for the first profession of seven novices and the entrance to the novitiate of 12 postulants. The celebration took place in the minor seminary, Rogate Bhavan Cheriyamkolly. The superior of the house, Fr. Sabu Pulimalayil extended a warm welcome to the Major Superior, Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, who recevied the vows. Fr. Devassy Pianadeth shared the reflection to the newly professed brothers.

The Rogationist St. Thomas Quasi Province started the orientation for the new school, Rogationist Academy, for the School year 2016-2017. The parents of our fifty children and some other parents attended the seminar and they were given the information about the new school. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly welcomed the dignitaries and the parents to the program. The new Principal of Rogationist Academy; Fr. Cineesh Palathingal was introduced and the Principal addressed the audience. A one hour seminar on parenting and education was conducted by Mr.

The Rogate Bhavan Community celebrated the concluding section of the Founder's day of the school year. the celebrations began in the morning with the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Shajan Pazhayil RCJ the Major Superior of St. Thomas Quasi Province. In the evening of the day there was conference on the topic 'Fr. Hannibal and the Virtue of Charity'. After the conference Fr. Shajan addressed the community and talked about the connection between Rogate and charity. There after  Fr. Sabu Thanked Fr. Shajan for his presence and his support and he invited fr.
Fr. Deepu Plathottathil was ordained priest on January 21, 2016, by his eminence Archbishop George Njaralakkatt, the archbishop of Tellissery diocese. The celebration started on the previous day with the prayer in the house of Fr. Deepu. All the Rogationists religious, the relatives of Fr. Deepu, gathered in the house as he was moving to the bishop's house for the immediate preparation. The family friend of Fr. Deepu, Bishop Georges Varkey Puthiyakulangara, from the diocese of Port-Bergé, Madagascar, graced the prayer service with his message to the family and to Fr. Deepu. The following day for the ordination ceremony Fr. Shajan Pazhayil served as the archdeacon. It was very beautiful celebration and Rogationists fathers, religious students, novices, postulants and seminarians participated in the celebration. Relatives, friends and benefactors joined in the celebration to thank the Lord for the gift of priesthood conferred upon Fr. Deepu Plathottathil. During the felicitation meeting, representing the Quasi Province, the Major Superior congratulated the family and parish community of Fr. deepu for offering two of their sons to the Rogationist congregation and to the Church, Fr. James and Fr. Deepu Plathottathil. He encouraged the parish community to continue to show their generosity in promoting and encouraging vocations to the Church.
