(30 aprile 2024) Il Rev.mo Mons. Jose Rojas, Jr, Vescovo della Diocesi di Libmanan, ha presieduto la Messa di Dedicazione e Benedizione della Chiesa di Nostra Signora della Salvezza (Salingogon, Minalabac, Camarines Sur) concelebrata da cinque sacerdoti tra cui P. Aldrin Adolfo, Parroco e P. John Lucas RCJ, Vicario Provinciale della Provincia San Matteo. Nella sua omelia, il Vescovo ha ringraziato i Rogazionisti per aver donato una reliquia di prima classe (ex corpore) di Sant'Annibale, che è stata posta solennemente sull'altare della chiesa parrocchiale appena consacrata. Anche P. John Lucas nel suo messaggio ha ringraziato il Vescovo, il parroco e i fedeli per aver accolto la reliquia di Sant'Annibale e per averla posta solennemente sull'altare della loro chiesa parrocchiale. Ha detto che la reliquia, prima di tutto, ricorda che Sant'Annibale è un compagno paterno e un esempio luminoso per tutti sulla via della santità, soprattutto nel suo servizio ai giovani e ai piccoli, in particolare ai bisognosi e agli abbandonati. In secondo luogo, la reliquia ricorda a tutti il carisma del Rogate: l'obbedienza al comando di Gesù di pregare per avere più lavoratori nella Chiesa, di diffondere la preghiera e di diventare buoni lavoratori nella Chiesa. Nel suo discorso conclusivo, P. Aldrin Adolfo ha raccontato la storia di come P. Jobert Belgica RCJ e P. Jorem Bellen RCJ, entrambi della parrocchia, abbiano contribuito a portare la reliquia di Sant'Annibale alla parrocchia di Nostra Signora della Salvezza.
Relic of St. Hannibal Mary Solemnly Placed in the altar of the Parish Church of Our Lady of Salvation in Camarines Sur, Philippines
(April 30, 2024) Most Rev. Jose Rojas, Jr, Bishop of the Diocese of Libmanan presided over the Mass of Dedication and Blessing of the Church of Our Lady of Salvation (Salingogon, Minalabac, Camarines Sur) concelebrated by five priests including Fr. Aldrin Adolfo, Parish Priest and Fr. John Lucas RCJ, Vicar Provincial of St. Matthew Province. In his homily, the Bishop thanked the Rogationists for donating a first-class relic (ex corpore) of St. Hannibal, which was solemnly placed on the altar of the newly consecrated parish church. Fr. John Lucas in his message also thanked the Bishop, the parish priest and the faithful for welcoming the relic of St. Hannibal and solemnly placing it on the altar of their parish church. He said that the relic, first of all, is a reminder that St. Hannibal is a fatherly companion and a shining example for all on the path to holiness, especially in his service to the young and the little ones, especially the needy and the abandoned. Secondly, the relic reminds everyone of the charism of the Rogate: obedience to the command of Jesus to pray for more workers in the Church, to spread prayer and to become good workers in the Church. In his closing remarks, Fr. Aldrin Adolfo told the story of how Fr. Jobert Belgica RCJ and Fr. Jorem Bellen RCJ, both from the parish, were instrumental in bringing the relic of St. Hannibal to Our Lady of Salvation Parish.
