South Korea: 1st anniversary of the Suncheon Vietnamese Community
The Vietnamese Catholic Community in Suncheon celebrated the 1st anniversary of its foundation on Oct. 18, during the month dedicated to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary at the Suncheon Catholic Chapel. Fr. Joseph Cuong, RCJ, chaplain of the Vietnamese migrant community was the main celebrant, joined in by Father Peter, the current Director of Caritas Suncheon and Father Stephano Kim, the former director. There were also sisters form the Congregation of the Notredam as well as the representative of the 5 Vietnamese Catholic communities of Gwangju, Yeosu, Nokdong, Mokpo and Dohwa, all districts of the Archdiocese of Gwangju. Some Korean friends and benefactors also participated. Everyone enjoyed the party preapred after the Mass.
Corea del Sud: 1° anniversario della comunità vietnamita di Suncheon
La comunità cattolica vietnamita di Suncheon ha celebrato il 1° anniversario della sua fondazione il 18 ottobre, durante il mese dedicato a Nostra Signora del Santissimo Rosario presso la cappella cattolica di Suncheon. Padre Joseph Cuong, RCJ, cappellano della comunità di immigrati vietnamiti, è stato il celebrante principale, affiancato da padre Peter, attuale direttore di Caritas Suncheon e da padre Stephano Kim, ex direttore. Erano presenti anche le suore della Congregazione delle Notredam e i rappresentanti delle 5 comunità cattoliche vietnamite di Gwangju, Yeosu, Nokdong, Mokpo e Dohwa, tutti distretti dell'arcidiocesi di Gwangju. Hanno partecipato anche alcuni amici e benefattori coreani. Tutti si sono divertiti alla festa preparata dopo la Messa.
