Vietnam: formazione permanente

Uno dei momenti salienti dell'anno di celebrazione del 20° anniversario della presenza rogazionista in Vietnam sarà l'ordinazione di tre diaconi rogazionisti vietnamiti il 7 ottobre 2023, presso il Centro pastorale di Dalat, in Vietnam. L'ordinazione e' preceduta da un ritiro di cinque giorni per i diaconi, guidato da P. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, il missionario rogazionista pioniere in Vietnam, dal 30 settembre al 4 ottobre presso lo stesso centro dove avverrà l'ordinazione. Nell''ultimo giorno, altri sacerdoti rogazionisti svolgendo incarichi in Vietnam, Corea del Sud, Filippine, Australia e Indonesia hanno partecipato alla formazione permanente sul tema "Il sacerdote rogazionista - un sacerdote secondo il Cuore di Gesù", che si è conclusa con l'adorazione eucaristica con l'intenzione speciale di essere una cosa sola con la Chiesa nella celebrazione dell'apertura del Sinodo dei vescovi sulla sinodalità a Roma. Nel pomeriggio, gli altri Rogazionisti e i seminaristi hanno partecipato al "Narrare la nostra storia in Vietnam" in cui P. Ezpeleta, sotto forma di tradizione orale, ha condiviso la propria esperienza degli inizi della presenza rogazionista in Vietnam, descrivendo il cammino di discernimento, la preparazione e i primi passi del progetto missionario. Anche alcuni confratelli presenti hanno ricordato le loro esperienze. È stata una lettura della nostra storia con gli occhi della fede, una storia di salvezza, così come Sant'Annibale Maria Di Francia, nostro Fondatore, leggeva la storia della Provvidenza di Dio nelle vicissitudini concrete del suo tempo e insegnava ai suoi figli spirituali a leggere la storia allo stesso modo. La giornata si è conclusa con la Santa Eucaristia, seguita dalla cena presso la "Casa del Rogate"  Seminario Rogazionista.  Questa calda e intima riunione di famiglia, vissuta nella preghiera e nella fraternità, è stata un'occasione adatta per riflettere sull'azione di Dio nella nostra vita, prima che tutti si dedicassero alla preparazione immediata della celebrazione dell'ordinazione il 7 ottobre.

Vietnam: Ongoing formation
One of the highlights of the year-long celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Rogationist presence in Vietnam will be the ordination of three Vietnamese Rogationist deacons on October 7, 2023, at the Dalat Pastoral Center in Vietnam. This is preceded by a five-day retreat for the deacons, guided by Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, the pioneer Rogationist missionary in Vietnam, from September 30 to October 4 at the same center where the ordination will take place. On the last day, other Rogationist priests working in Vietnam, South Korea, the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia participated in the ongoing formation on the theme "The Rogationist Priest - a Priest after the Heart of Jesus", which ended with Eucharistic Adoration with the special intention of being one with the Church in the celebration of the opening of the Synod of Bishops on Synodality in Rome. In the afternoon, the other Rogationists and the seminarians participated in the "Narrating our History in Vietnam" in which Fr. Ezpeleta, in the form of an oral tradition, shared his own experience of the beginnings of the Rogationist presence in Vietnam, describing the journey of discernment, preparation and the first steps of the missionary project. Some of the confreres present also recalled their experiences. It was a reading of our history through the eyes of faith, a history of salvation, just as St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia, our Founder, read the history of God's Providence in the concrete vicissitudes of his time and taught his spiritual children to read history in the same way. The day ended with the Holy Eucharist, followed by dinner at the Rogationist Seminary "Rogate House".  This warm and intimate family reunion, lived in prayer and fraternity, was a suitable occasion to reflect on God's action in our lives, before everyone busied themselves with the immediate preparation for the celebration of the ordination on October 7th.
