The St. Matthew Province commenced with its attempt to organize a series of seminars on on-going transformation for religious and priests grouped according to the years they have been in the ministry. Through the efforts of Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ the first group of “junior” religious – those who have been in the ministry for barely five years and below - initiated the program with an encounter at the Oasis of Prayer in Silang, Cavite. This first ever seminar with a witty word-play for a title, “Well-Come Home, Wild Men!”, is participated in by 19 religious under the guidance of Mr. Cynthia C. Baga and Msgr. Ramon Masculino of the Growth Alternatives for Managing On-Going Transformation Resources, Inc. – a group known for their works on the area of transformative process of life struggles, faith and mission.
Fr. Herman Abcede, RCJ officially opened the week-long meeting with a simple inspirational message for the participants.
