La diocesi di Paranaque (Filippine), in occasione della 61esima Giornata Mondiale di Preghiera per le Vocazioni, ha organizzato l'annuale "Magbokasyon", ospitato quest'anno dal Centro Studi P. Di Francia (FDFCS) di Paranaque City. All'evento hanno partecipato circa 400 giovani provenienti da diverse parrocchie della diocesi di Paranaque. L'evento è iniziato con la celebrazione dell'Eucaristia in memoria della Beata Vergine Maria: Regina e Madre del Rogate, presieduta dal Padre Provinciale, P. Orville Cajigal, mentre P. Jose Ariel Tecson, Maestro dei Novizi, ha tenuto l'omelia. È seguito un breve programma di apertura che ha messo in evidenza la presenza dei giovani e dei loro vicariati, nonché dei membri delle diverse congregazioni religiose che sono venuti a incontrarli nel "booth hopping". Don Jeff Manlapig, direttore delle vocazioni della diocesi di Paranaque, ha parlato della "preghiera", spiegandola attraverso l'analogia dell'amore. Prima della pausa pranzo, l'assemblea ha recitato la preghiera di mezzogiorno per le vocazioni.
Il programma del pomeriggio è iniziato con una celebrazione penitenziale presieduta da P. Jeff. A questa è seguita la confessione e la condivisione di gruppo. La maggior parte dei partecipanti si è confessata e poi si è recata nella Cappella dello Spirito Santo del Teologato per pregare e trascorrere del tempo con Gesù Eucaristico. Camminare con Maria: Il rosario per le vocazioni è stato pregato con tutto il cuore dai giovani che hanno camminato con Maria nelle stazioni assegnate intorno alla scuola (RC-P) e alla FDFCS. Il Magbokasyon 2024 si è concluso con un rituale di incarico e di preghiera. Ai partecipanti è stato chiesto di partecipare alla chiamata di Gesù a "pregare il Signore della messe affinché mandi operai nella sua messe" e di diffondere la consapevolezza dell'importanza di questa preghiera, rendendoli, in un modo o nell'altro, "apostoli del Rogate". La merienda è stata servita quando sono tornati alle loro rispettive case e comunità.
Il Magbokasyon è un evento annuale della Provincia di San Matteo, in collaborazione con la Diocesi di Paranaque, che mira a raggiungere i giovani per promuovere la consapevolezza del Rogate e incoraggiarli a diventare apostoli del Rogate.

61st WDPV: Magbokasyon 2024! Diocese of Paranaque
The Diocese of Paranaque, on the occasion of the 61st World Day of Prayer for Vocations, held the annual “Magbokasyon” hosted this year by Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies, Paranaque City, Philippines. About 400 youth from different parishes of the Diocese of Paranaque attended the event. The event began with the celebration of the Eucharist in memory of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Queen and Mother of the Rogate, presided by the Provincial Father, Fr. Orville Cajigal, while Fr. Jose Ariel Tecson, Novice Master, gave the homily. A short opening program followed, highlighting the presence of the young people and their vicariates, as well as the members of the different religious congregations who came to meet them in the "booth hopping". Fr. Jeff Manlapig, Vocations Director of the Diocese of Paranaque, gave the talk on "Prayer", explaining it through the analogy of love. Before the lunch break, the assembly prayed the Midday Prayer for Vocations.
The afternoon program began with a penitential celebration presided by Fr. Jeff. This was followed by confession and group sharing. Most of the participants went to confession and then to the Chapel of the Holy Spirit to pray and spend time with the Eucharistic Jesus. Walk with Mary: The Rosary for Vocations was prayed wholeheartedly by the youth as they walked with Mary at the assigned stations around the school grounds (RC-P) and FDFCS. The Magbokasyon 2024 ended with a ritual of commissioning and prayer. The participants were asked to take part in answering Jesus' call to "pray to the Lord of the harvest that he will send workers into his harvest" and also to spread awareness of the importance of this prayer, making them, in one way or another, "apostles of the Rogate". Merienda was served as they returned to their respective homes and communities.
Magbokasyon is an annual event of the St. Matthew's Province, especially in the Diocese of Paranaque, that aims to reach out to the youth to promote awareness of the Rogate and to encourage them to become apostles of the Rogate.
