31-12-2022 -  Il Papa emerito, 95 anni, si è spento alle 9.34 nella sua residenza in Vaticano

Benedetto XVI è tornato alla Casa del Padre. La Sala Stampa vaticana ha annunciato pochi minuti fa che la morte è sopravvenuta alle 9.34 nella residenza del Monastero Mater Ecclesiae, che il Papa emerito, 95.enne, aveva scelto come sua residenza dopo la rinuncia al ministero petrino avvenuta nel 2013. 

Nel contesto della Commemorazione del 114° Anniversario del Terremoto del 28 Dicembre 1908 gli Assessorati alla Cultura e alla Protezione Civile del Comune di Messina hanno approntato un cartellone ricco di iniziative, dal 27 dicembre all’8 gennaio 2023.

Il 30 Dicembre, i consiglieri del Sindaco di Messina hanno offerto e distribuito il pranzo alla Mensa Padre Annibale di Cristo Re di Messina. Nella busta hanno donato: antipasto salame e formaggio, la penne al ragù, salsiccia e patate, acqua e coca cola, panino, piccola pasticceria. Una grazie al consiglio comunale per quello che hanno fatto  per i nostri ospiti della Mensa.

L'incontro é stato organizzato dai PP. Saji e P. Christy coordinatori del Progetto delle adozioni a distanza in India! E' il momento migliore per sensibilizzare i bambini e le loro famiglie alla riconoscenza e alla preghiera per tutti i benefattori che pur senza conoscerli, fanno giungere a loro il frutto del loro lavoro e del loro sacrificio! E' Natale, la Festa del Dono!

De l'après-midi du mardi 27, au matin de ce Jeudi 29 décembre 2022, la Maison de Formation Saint Hannibal de Cyangugu a abrité en son sein une mini-session vocationnelle des jeunes de la zone RDC - Cyangugu sur le thème : Identité Rogationniste : Charisme et Spiritualité. C'est ainsi que 15 jeunes ont répondu présent à l'invitation à eux adressée, venant de la RDC et du Rwanda.

Fr. Francis Ferrucci Cayao RCJ delivered a presentation entitled “Announcement, Call, and Communion. Exegesis of Mt. 9:35-38" on the first day of the 60th Conference of Biblical Scholars held at Claret Spirituality House (Vic) in Barcelona, Spain on December 27-29, 2022. 
Organized by the Biblical Association of Catalunya (Associacio Biblica de Catalunya), this year’s Conference takes the theme, “Leadership and Communion Experience in the Biblical Scriptures.”

On the Feast of St. Stephen, the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies community hosted the Christmas Party 2022 of the St. Matthew Province. Present during the celebration was a good number of confreres from different SMP Communities in Luzon. The celebration began with the Eucharist, presided by Father Provincial, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ. In the homily, he stressed that St. Stephen proved to live the true spirit of Christmas for he offered his life for the sake of the gospel, for the sake of Christ whose birth we commemorate this Christmas season.

The Rogationist Seminary in Merville, Paranaque (Manila) welcomes young people for a 5-day annual Christmas Vocation Orientation on December 26-30, 2022. These youth met the Rogationists seminarians in the recent vocation campaign and have expressed their desire to discern their vocation. The event offers them moments of input from various speakers, prayer and reflection, dialogue with the formators, and visits to the Rogationist communities.
