Januar7 03, 2016:- Fr. Xavier Kidangen celebrated the jubilee mass thanking the Lord for the 50 years of priesthood. We have opened the door of our chapel as a symbolical opening of the Holy Door. After the Eucharist celebration, we have expressed our gratitude to Fr. Xavier inviting his close family members and friends. A short meeting was held to express our gratitude and felicitations to Fr. Xavier. At the end of the meeting, Fr. Xavier and his family members contributed a substantial amount of money to the Major Superior to be used for the works of mercy during this extra ordinary jubilee year of mercy. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil unveiled the logo of the jubilee year of mercy and Fr. Unny Poottokan, explained the works of mercy expressed by the Quasi Province, through the apostolate of the "adoption at a distance" program.

January 03, 2016, The Rogationist STQP, celebrated the opening of the year of mercy in the quasi province,  the golden jubilee celebration of Fr. Xavier Kidangen, the spiritual father of the center of studies as well as the second day of animation of the religious seminarians' meet, Agrima 2016. We have started the day with a guided meditation on the terrace, praising the God of creation. Early morning after breakfast, 6 teams represented the different communities for the " Year of Consecrated Life Memorial Ever rolling Trophy Quiz Competition".  

The Rogationist St. Thomas Quasi Province organized a two days gathering of the Religious-Seminarians Meet 2016, an initiative for the year of consecrated life. The gathering began on January 02, 2016 in the evening. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly, the councillor in charge of the sector of formation welcomed all the fathers, brothers, novices, postulants and seminarians to this event. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the major superior inaugurated the event, while Fr. Joby Kavungal, the chairman of the organizing committee explained the meaning of the theme of the year; AGRIMA 2016. After the inauguration we started the event with the recitation of the Rosary and ice breaking session with games and entertainment, animated by Mr. Doney Peter (Motivational Speaker and Idea Evangelist, focussed on envisioning, creating and implementing solutions to improve the quality of life of individuals, teams & companies) 

Dal 5 all’8 gennaio 2016 il Superiore Generale, P. Angelo A. Mezzari, accompagnato dall’Economo Generale, P. Gioacchino Chiapperini, nell’ambito della visita alla Provincia Sant’Annibale visiterà la comunità religiosa dell’Albania. Nell’occasione porgerà gli auguri, a nome della Congregazione, al confratello Mons. Ottavio Vitale, che il 6 gennaio, alle ore 17:00, in una solenne Concelebrazione Eucaristica, nella cattedrale di Lezhës, festeggerà il 10° anniversario della sua Ordinazione Episcopale. Alleghiamo l’invito ricevuto dal Vicario Generale, P. Antonio Leuci.  

La Curia Generalizia entra nel nuovo anno 2016, in festa con tutti per l’Ottava del Natale e la solennità di Maria Santissima Madre di Dio, ed ha un particolare motivo di gioia per il compleanno di P. Bruno Rampazzo,  Vicario Generale della Congregazione e Superiore delegato della Comunità. Cogliamo l’occasione per manifestargli la gratitudine per il solerte prezioso servizio che svolge alla Congregazione e alla Comunità e implorare su di lui la benedizione dei nostri Divini Superiori. 

On the last day of the year 2015, December 31st, Fr. Doney Palakuzha was ordained priest by his Excellency Mar Mathew anikuzhikattil, the bishop of Idukki diocese. The celebration started with the reception to the bishop and deacon Doney in the parish church at 2:15 pm, followed by the ordination ceremony. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the major superior was the archdeacon of the ordination ceremony and Fr. Joby Kavungal, the con-celebrant and the homilist. Fr. Joby quoting the words of the St. John Maria vianney said, "priesthood is a love towards the Heart of Jesus". He exhorted Fr. Doney to be a priest, who loves, remembers and shows mercy towards humanity. The celebration concluded with the table fellowship offered by the family of Fr. Doney at 5:30 pm. Representatives from all the Rogationist communities in India, families of our religious, friends and benefactors participated in the joyful celebration of the ordination.  

Fr. Romal Kaniyamparambil was ordained on December 30. 2015, at St. George Church, Marykulam. His excellency Mar Mathew Arackal, the bishop of Kanjirappilly, ordained Romal to the sacred order of priesthood. Together with Fr. Romal, Fr. Kuriakose, a Blessed Sacrament priest was ordained in the same celebration. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the Major Superior of STQP was the con celebrant for the ordination ceremony. Representatives from all the Rogationist communities in India, families of our religious, friends and benefactors participated in the joyful celebration of the ordination.  

​Fr. Jiby Edathiparamban was ordained on 28th December 2015, by his excellency Mar Sebastian Adanyanthrath in his own native parish, St. Sebastian Church, Valoor. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the major Superior was the archdeacon and Fr. Martin Kallungal, the spiritual father of Jiby was the con-celebrant. Representatives from all the Rogationist communities in India, Daughters of divine zeal, families of our religious, friends and benefactors participated in the joyful celebration of the ordination.  

​The Rogationist STQP, India rejoices for the ordination of eight new priests of the quasi province. The first ordination was held on December 27, 2015. His excellency Mar Jose Puthanveettil, the auxiliary bishop of Ernakulam-Angamlay, ordained our brother Stany to the sacred order of priesthood. Together with Fr. Stany, Fr. Vineeth Payyappilly, a Vincentian priest was ordained in the same celebration. Fr. Varghese Parappuram VC, the superior general of the Vincentian congregation was the archdeacon, while Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the Major Superior of STQP was the con celebrant for the ordination ceremony. Representatives from all the Rogationist communities in India, Daughters of divine zeal, families of our religious, friends and benefactors participated in the joyful celebration of the ordination.
