The Rogate Oasis Farm in Brgy. Sampaloc, Bolinao, Pangasinan has been awarded a Certificate of Accreditation as Learning Site by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) of the Department of Agriculture of the Philippine Government. Dr. Roger Evangelista, ATI-RTC I Center Director, Santa Barabara, Pangasinan handed the certificate to Fr. Mariano Ranera Jr. RCJ, Rogate Oasis Farm Director, during a formal launch ceremony held at the site on August 9, 2017. On August 6, 2017 Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord , Fr. Herman Abcede RCJ, Provincial Superior of Rogationist St. Matthew Province, solemnly blessed the Santuario de San Antonio - Chapel of the Divine Providence (newly built chapel of SABV-Davao) and presided over the Holy Mass. It may be unknown to many of you that SABV-Davao produces its newsletter "The Providence" since June 2016. I am now sending you the June 2017 issue of our newsletter, The Providence. It is the first issue of its second year of publication. may this endeavor make each of us get in touch with and appreciate our apostolate among the poor boys whose prayers are always favored by the Divine Providence through the intercession of St. Anthony of Padua.

Dearest,  This coming July 24 (Monday) we will be commemorating the 7th Death Anniversary of our dear Fr. Joseph Aveni. It is a good occasion to remember his exemplary life, to thank him for the precious teachings he left us and to share memories and experiences from those whose lives have been touched by him. 

For this occasion the Rogationist St. Matthew Province is inviting all to a Eucharistic Celebration before his tomb at the Manila Memorial Park, Parañaque City. There will be also the presentation and distribution of his Short Biography and prayer cards. 

In celebration of the Year of the Parish, the second installment to a series of talks on Communion of Communities, [organized by Fr. Ariel Tecson, the Provincial Councilor on Religious Life, Formation and Pastoral Care for Vocations,] was delivered by Fr. Ulrich Gacayan on the theme “The Christian Community in St. Peter’s Epistle: its Insights and Challenges in our Time” at the Oasis of Prayer in Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite on July 15, 2017. Through the efforts of Fr. Viktor Emmanuel Aurellana, in his capacity as In-Charge of the Pastoral Institute on Vocation Ministry, assisted by Rev. Zander Conson and in coordination with Fr. Ariel Tecson, the Provincial Councilor on the Sector Religious Life, Formation and Pastoral Care for Vocations, the first of a series of four Workshops on the Formation of Formators was held on July 15-16, 2017 at the Oasis of Prayer in Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite.

Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - On June 23, 2017, the Rogationist Mission at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in Sidea, Papua New Guinea celebrated the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Mass presided by Fr. Giulio Belarmino RCJ, followed by a religious-cultural program organized in St Mary's Primary School

​           In view of the ongoing celebration of the 40 years of presence of the Rogationists in the Philippines, the St. Matthew Province prepared for the celebration of the Feast of July the First with a 40-hour Eucharistic Adoration. It is worth recalling that it was during a 40-hour Adoration at the Church of St. John of Malta in Messina, Sicily, Italy, that the young Hannibal was inspired by the Eucharistic Lord about the charism of the Rogate.
