(April 7) Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, RCJ, the Superior General of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus, and Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provincial of St. Matthew Province, had a meaningful meeting with His Excellency, David Bonnar, DD, Bishop of Youngstown, Ohio at the Chancery Building of the Diocese. The Bishop offered the Rogationists the possibility of participating in the life and ministry of the Diocese by beginning the presence of a Rogationist community in the Diocese within the year 2025. On their part, the Rogationists expressed their appreciation for the openness and generosity of the Diocese in welcoming them. Both recognize the hand of God in making this partnership a reality.
Present at the meeting were Msgr. John Zuraw, Fr. Keven Peters, Fr. John Sheridan, Fr. John-Michael Lavelle, Mr. Pat Kelly, Mrs. Joan Lawson, Fr. Brizio Giovanni Greco, RCJ, and Fr. Noel Reyes.
Before the said meeting, Bishop Bonnar presided over the Holy Mass with Fsr. Rampazzo, Greco, Cajigal and Reyes in the chapel of the Bishop’s Residence in Youngstown, Ohio. Lunch was then shared with some of the diocesan staff to begin the encounter between the Rogationists and the Diocese.

I Rogazionisti si impegnano con la Diocesi di Youngstown, Ohio (USA)
(7 aprile) Padre Bruno Rampazzo, RCJ, Superiore Generale dei Rogazionisti del Cuore di Gesù, e Padre Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provinciale della Provincia San Matteo, hanno avuto un significativo incontro con Sua Eccellenza, David Bonnar, DD, Vescovo di Youngstown, Ohio, presso la Curia della Diocesi. Il vescovo ha offerto ai Rogazionisti la possibilità di partecipare alla vita e al ministero della diocesi, iniziando la presenza di una comunità religiosa rogazionista nella diocesi entro l'anno 2025. Dalla loro parte, i Rogazionisti hanno espresso il loro apprezzamento per l'apertura e la generosità della diocesi nell'accoglierli. Entrambi riconoscono la mano di Dio nel rendere questa collaborazione una realtà.

Prima dell'incontro, il vescovo Bonnar ha presieduto la Santa Messa con i padri Rampazzo, Greco, Cajigal e Reyes nella cappella della residenza vescovile a Youngstown, Ohio. Il pranzo è stato poi condiviso con alcuni membri del personale diocesano per dare inizio all'incontro tra i Rogazionisti e la diocesi.
