SILANG, CAVITE – The Local Superiors of the Rogationist St. Matthew Province (SMP) gathered at the Oasis of Prayer from April 10–11, 2026, for their annual assembly. The meeting was honored by the presence and participation of Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, RCJ, Vicar General of the Congregation.
The first day focused on organizational assessment and future strategy. Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provincial Superior, presented the results of the Provincial evaluation held earlier that week. This was followed by a review of the proposed Annual Plan for the 2026–2027 Formation Year, led by Provincial Secretary Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ. The assembly also discussed preparations for the upcoming 4th Provincial Chapter, spearheaded by Fr. Breynard Peji, RCJ. The day concluded with a joyful Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Fr. Alvin Fulgencio, RCJ, in thanksgiving for his priestly anniversary.
On April 11, the second day commenced with a Mass celebrated by Fr. Ricardo Caperiña, RCJ, in gratitude for the gift of life. The assembly then moved to finalize the St. Matthew Provincial Calendar of Activities for the 2026–2027 cycle. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to the upcoming Golden Jubilee (2026–2027), marking 50 years of the Rogationists' presence in the Philippines. Fr. Ronaldo Victoria, RCJ, led the discussions on the year-long preparations for this historic milestone.
Incontro dei Superiori Locali SMP 2026
SILANG, CAVITE – Dal 10 all'11 aprile 2026, i Superiori Locali della Provincia Rogazionista San Matteo (PSM) si sono riuniti presso l’Oasi di Preghiera per il loro incontro annuale, con la partecipazione di P. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, RCJ, Vicario Generale della Congregazione.
La giornata del 10 aprile è stata dedicata all'analisi dei risultati della valutazione provinciale (svoltasi dal 7 al 9 aprile) sotto la guida del Superiore Provinciale, P. Orville Cajigal, RCJ. Successivamente, il Segretario Provinciale Fr. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ, ha presentato la proposta del Piano Annuale per l’anno formativo 2026–2027. Sono stati inoltre discussi i preparativi per il prossimo IV Capitolo Provinciale, coordinati da P. Breynard Peji, RCJ. La serata si è conclusa con una Celebrazione Eucaristica presieduta da P. Alvin Fulgencio, RCJ, in ringraziamento per il suo anniversario di ordinazione sacerdotale.
L'11 aprile, P. Ricardo Caperiña, RCJ, ha presieduto la messa mattutina in ringraziamento per il dono della vita. In seguito, l'assemblea ha finalizzato il Calendario Provinciale delle Attività SMP per il 2026–2027 e ha proseguito il confronto sui preparativi per il Giubileo d'Oro della presenza rogazionista nelle Filippine (novembre 2026 – novembre 2027), sotto la guida di P. Ronaldo Victoria, RCJ.
