Pilgrimage to our Lady of Tapao
As the tradition of the Church, the month of May is dedicated to honoring our Blessed Mother Mary. The Catholics in Vietnam call this month "the Month of Flowers".
The Rogationists in Vietnam organized a pilgrimage to our Lady of Ta Pao for lay collaborators as a gesture of gratitude to God for the countless blessings He bestows on us through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary and the generosity of our benefactors and friends. This Marian Shrine is located in Binh Thuan Province in Vietnam.
Joining this annual Marian pilgrimage are Rogationists priests, religious brothers, the FDZ sisters, benefactors and their family members, and students from both Congregations.
On the morning of May 27, we arrived at the shrine and celebrated the Holy Mass at the foot of our Lady of Tapao. After the Mass, we offered flowers to our Lady as our love offerings and gratitude to God through our Mother Mary. Then we proceeded to Binh An church. There we celebrated Pentecost Sunday the next morning and had a half day for outing and friendship building at resort Dat Lanh in Lagi, Bình Thuan Province.
We thank God for a successful and meaningful pilgrimage. May God through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary of Tapao and our Founder continue to bless our mission in Vietnam and reward our benefactors a hundredfold.
