Come parte del programma di postulato della Provincia Rogationisti-San Matteo, i formandi hanno visitato il Centro di Discernimento San Hannibal Mary presso la Comunità Contemplativa Rogationista di Rogamina dal 16 settembre al 16 ottobre 2025, insieme al loro formatore, padre Al John Provido. Durante il loro soggiorno, i formandi si sono immersi nella vita quotidiana della comunità, che ruota attorno al motto di Rogamina, "Rogamus et laboramus".
Nonostante il loro programma intenso, i postulanti hanno seguito le lezioni con il Rev. P. Marcelino Diaz II, RCJ, responsabile della comunità.
Dal 2 al 4 ottobre 2025, i postulanti hanno visitato il Centro Rogate di Pastorale Vocazionale (Camp Alfredo) sull'isola di Guimaras. Lì hanno dato una mano con lavori manuali per finire la chiesa di Maria Bambinella.
Questa esperienza di un mese con queste due comunità religiose ha permesso ai postulanti di apprezzare la bellezza del silenzio mentre si dedicavano alla preghiera e alla meditazione profonda. Hanno capito di essere uomini sia di preghiera che di lavoro, sperimentando la semplicità della vita.
Postulants' Experience in the Rogamina and Guimaras Communities
As part of the Rogationists–Saint Matthew Province Postulancy Program, the formands visited the Saint Hannibal Mary Discernment Center at the Rogamina Rogationist Contemplative Community from September 16 to October 16, 2025, accompanied by their formator, Fr. Al John Provido. During their stay, the formands immersed themselves in the community's daily life, which centers on the Rogamina motto, "Rogamus et laboramus."
Despite their strict schedule, the Postulants attended classes with Rev. Fr. Marcelino Diaz II, RCJ, the Responsible of the Community.
From October 2 to 4, 2025, the Postulants visited the Rogate Center of Pastoral Care for Vocations (Camp Alfredo) on the island of Guimaras. There, they provided manual labor to help finish the Maria Bambinella church.
This month-long experience with these two religious communities allowed the postulants to appreciate the beauty of silence while engaging in profound prayer and meditation. They recognized that they are men of both prayer and work, experiencing the simplicity of life.
