Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior opened the 3-day meeting of all the Superiors/Responsible and Treasurers of the St. Matthew Province, on July 20, 2017 at the St. Hannibal Rogate Center. After giving some indications and reporting on certain urgent concerns from his Office, Fr. Herman, called on Fr. Dexter Prudenciano to present to the group, on behalf of Bro. Nilo Pelobello, the Provincial Treasurer, significant updates about the Province's resources and its attempt to revise the draft of its Economic Manual.

En date du 17/07/2017 a commencé au sein de la communauté saint Hannibal de Cyangugu (propedeutique) une mini session des aspirants de provenance du Rwanda et  et de la RDCongo. Le nombre s'élève à 18. Le thème des enseignements qui sont entrain d'être donnés aux jeunes s'intitule comme suit :  "connaître le Rogate pour mieux s'engager dans la famille rogationniste". Au terme de la session il y aura un petit test qui nous permettra de sélectionner certains candidats pour commencer la formation au sein de notre communauté de Cyangugu.

Il Superiore Generale, P. Bruno Rampazzo, si è recato, domenica 16 luglio 2017, in visita a Pincara (RO), dove ha presieduto la santa messa domenicale delle 11.00 presso la chiesa parrocchiale di S. Giovanni Battista. Nella celebrazione eucaristica, P. Bruno ha voluto ricordare la figura del compianto P. Luigi Toffanin, nel 40º della sua ordinazione sacerdotale, avvenuta proprio nel suo paese natale il 16 luglio del 1977. All'Eucaristia erano presenti numerosi familiari e amici, nonché i sacerdoti rogazionisti indiani P. Unny Pottokkaran, Consigliere Generale per il Rogate e P.

Invitation to the Inauguration of Santuario de San Antonio

        The Community of St. Anthony’s Boys Village Davao has set the inauguration of it Chapel on August 6, 2017, Solemnity of the Transfiguration of the Lord and the anniversary of the canonical approval of the Rogationist Congregation. The name of the Chapel is “Santuario de San Antonio – Chapel of Divine Providence. The main celebrant for the said event is Fr. Herman Abcede, Provincial of St. Matthew Province.

Through the efforts of Fr. Viktor Emmanuel Aurellana, in his capacity as In-Charge of the Pastoral Institute on Vocation Ministry, assisted by Rev. Zander Conson and in coordination with Fr. Ariel Tecson, the Provincial Councilor on the Sector Religious Life, Formation and Pastoral Care for Vocations, the first of a series of four Workshops on the Formation of Formators was held on July 15-16, 2017 at the Oasis of Prayer in Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite.
