2 –The feast of Guardian Angels - The Rogate Bhavan Community celebrated the feast of our two regents brothers – Abin and Jain. During the holy Eucharist,  superior Fr. Saji Kallookkaran prayed and appreciated them for their   presence and efforts. We had solemn celebration in the evening and the seminarians entertained the whole community with cultural performances. The community extended their love and concern and offered prayerful support and gifts.

Le preghiere degli infermi scritte da Sant’Annibale hanno più di cento anni e tuttavia sono di una freschezza impressionante. Il segreto della loro attualità consiste nella loro radicazione evangelica. Ogni preghiera prende lo spunto dalla memoria di ciò che Gesù ha fatto per loro, dalla sua compassione per i miseri. L’altro aspetto che  le rende attuali risiede nel fatto che sono presentate nel “Nome di Gesù”. In questo modo chi prega con le parole del Di Francia si allena a pregare in modo evangelico.

October 1, 2016- Parish Feast of St. Teresa of Child Jesus

The community of Rogationist Mission Home Srilanka, joined the parish community (Dehigahapetiya) for the feast of St. Teresa of Child Jesus. The Solemn vespers and delightful procession and variety of firecrackers made the day more colorful and cheerful.

November 11 – Ratnapura Diocesan Eucharistic rally

           The Rogationist Parish of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Sidea, Papua New Guinea opened a two-day sports tournament called “St. Hannibal Cup 2017” on January 21-22. The event gathered the youths of the parish who are also students of the primary and secondary schools of the Rogationist Mission.

            With the theme “Building Communion”, the St. Anthony’s Boys Village (SABV) and Rogationist College in Cavite (RC-C) celebrates its 30^th anniversary of foundation on January 22, 2017 with a series of activities that run for six days. These include the Family Day, High School Sports Fest, Alumni Home Coming, Personal Recognition Day, College and Technical School Day, and a 10 Kilometer Fund Raising Fun Run.

Il 21 gennaio si è tenuto il ritiro congiunto dei Lavr e delle Famiglie Rog nell'Istituto Antoniano di Napoli. L'incontro ha avuto come tematica "Il Rogate come vocazione... e tu, ti senti chiamato?". Hanno guidato i momenti di riflessione padre Gilson Maia Consultore Generale per il Laicato, padre Paolo Galioto Responsabile per il Laicato della Provincia Italia Centro Sud e padre Claudio Pizzuto, Assistente Ecclesiastico dei LAVR.

Il direttivo dell'Associazione Pro Bambini di Kabul si è riunito a Roma, presso la nostra Curia Generalizia, per l'incontro di gennaio. P. Matteo Sanavio è stato presente alla riunione a nome del Governo Generale dei Rogazionisti, per accompagnare l'esperienza delle religiose presenti a Kabul a servizio delle disabilità dei bambini afghani più sfortunati. In agenda la preparazione di un prossimo convegno dell'Associazione che si celebrerà il 13 maggio prossimo a Roma presso la Sala Spadolini del Senato Italiano, in Santa Maria Sopra Minerva a Roma, dal titolo: "Profezia e frontiera.

        Fr. John Lucas, Provincial Vicar of St. Matthew Province, led the ground-breaking ceremonies of the construction of the first Rogationist Religious House in Vietnam on January 13, 2016, after a conclebrated Mass. Bro. Nilo Pelobello, SMP Provincial Treasurer assisted in a ceremony attended by the Rogationist confreres, diocesan and religious priests, seminarians, Daughters of Divine Zeal, relatives, benefactors and friends.
