Vietnam: Christmas Sharing 2022
Ogni anno, durante il periodo natalizio, i Rogazionisti in Vietnam organizzano un programma di condivisione dell'amore natalizio per le persone svantaggiate. Quest'anno la destinazione è la missione di Da Quyen, appartenente alla parrocchia di Da Loan, diocesi di Da Lat. Si tratta di una comunità cattolica composta per lo più da minoranze etniche. Il programma di condivisione dell'amore natalizio si è tenuto il 1° gennaio 2023, festa della Beata Vergine Maria, Madre di Dio.
On the Feast of St. Stephen, the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies community hosted the Christmas Party 2022 of the St. Matthew Province. Present during the celebration was a good number of confreres from different SMP Communities in Luzon. The celebration began with the Eucharist, presided by Father Provincial, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ. In the homily, he stressed that St. Stephen proved to live the true spirit of Christmas for he offered his life for the sake of the gospel, for the sake of Christ whose birth we commemorate this Christmas season.
The Rogationist Seminary in Merville, Paranaque (Manila) welcomes young people for a 5-day annual Christmas Vocation Orientation on December 26-30, 2022. These youth met the Rogationists seminarians in the recent vocation campaign and have expressed their desire to discern their vocation. The event offers them moments of input from various speakers, prayer and reflection, dialogue with the formators, and visits to the Rogationist communities.
The Rogationist Seminary in Merville, Paranaque (Manila) organized a Christmas concert of songs and prayers entitled Pasko Naming Hangad (Our Christmas Wish). A Story of Hope. The musical play and prayer concert had two shows at 6 PM and 8 PM that run from December 12 to 18. The proceeds of the concert are for the benefit of the year-long Sunday catechetical program for “Father Hannibal’s Children”, an apostolate of the Seminary which started in the mid-1980s.

The seminarians of the Rogationist Seminary-Cebu had their vocation campaign last December 11-18, 2022 at their respective parishes and nearby schools. This was after their week of caroling, final exams and Christmas party. Our seminarians had their campaign in the areas of Surigao, Cotabato, Bohol, Dapitan, Ilo-ilo and provinces of Cebu. (17 dic) Il Centro Missionario di Sideia, in Papua Nuova Guinea, ha avuto una semplice celebrazione offerta alle suore salesiane (FMA) come segno di gratitudine per i loro 16 anni di servizio, amore e cura per la popolazione locale del Centro Missionario di Sideia. Le suore salesiane collaborano alla scuola e al dormitorio per ragazze del Sideia Mission Center, affidato ai Rogazionisti dal 2003.

(23 dicembre) Alcuni funzionari del Comitato Provinciale del Partito, del Consiglio del Popolo, del Comitato Popolare, del Fronte della Patria del Vietnam e della Rione 2 della città di Da Lat hanno fatto visita alla comunità rogazionista di Da Lat per porgere gli auguri e dare dei fiori per le feste natalizie. I Confratelli e i seminaristi li hanno accolti calorosamente e hanno offerto canti natalizi come augurio di pace e felicità.
(Dec.10, 2022) The PamRog national coordinators together with Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Salvador, RCJ had an updating with the PamRog members of the Surigao Chapter.
The meeting started with an opening prayer and welcome remarks given by Rev. Fr. Dante Quidayan, RCJ, Superior of the Rogationists Seminary, Cebu. The participants were then asked to introduce themselves and share how they came to be involved in Pamilya Rog.
