(10 ottobre 2024) Il nuovo edificio annesso della Rogationist Academy ad Aluva, Kerela, India, è stato inaugurato da P. Bruno Rampazzo, Superiore Generale dei Rogazionisti, e benedetto da Sua Eccellenza Thomas Chakkiath, Vescovo Ausiliare Emerito dell'Arcidiocesi di Ernakulam-Angamaly. P. Varghese Panickassery, Direttore della Academy, ha dato il benvenuto al evento e il deputato Sig. Benny Behanan ha tenuto il discorso principale. P. Shajan Pazhayil, Superiore Maggiore della Quasi Provincia San Tommaso, Sig.ra Reena Catherine Paul, Preside, P. Anish Issen, Responsabile del Progetto, M. J. Jomy, Presidente del Comitato Permanente per la Salute e l'Educazione del Distretto di Ernakulam, Sig.ra Bhavana Renjith, Membro del consiglio della zona, erano presenti per l'occasione. Erano presenti molti sacerdoti e studenti religiosi rogazionisti, oltre ai membri dell'esecutivo del PTA, ai genitori, ai sacerdoti, alle suore religiose, ai vicini e ai benefattori della Rogationist Academy. La prestazione culturale degli studenti e degli insegnanti della Academy ha aggiunto un sapore speciale all'intero programma.
La Rogationist Academy, gestita dai Rogazionisti, è stata fondata nel 2016 in una frazione chiamata Kunnumpuram, Desom, a soli 8 km dall'aeroporto internazionale di Kochi. Da un inizio molto umile e modesto di soli 103 studenti e 5 insegnanti, oggi conta 903 studenti e 51 insegnanti e 32 staff di supporto.
Blessing and Inauguration of the Annex Building of the Rogationist Academy
(October 10, 2024) The new annex building of the Rogationist Academy in Aluva, Kerela, India was inaugurated by Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, Superior General of the Rogationists, and blessed by His Excellency Thomas Chakkiath, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. Fr. Varghese Panickassery, Director of the Rogationist Academy welcomed the gathering and Mr. Benny Behanan MP delivered the keynote address. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, Major Superior of Rogationist St. Thomas Quasi Province, Ms. Reena Catherine Paul, Principal, Fr. Anish Issen, Project Manager, Mr. M. J. Jomy, Chairman of Ernakulam District Health and Education Standing Committee, Ms. Bhavana Renjith, Ward Member were present on the occasion. Many Rogationist priests and religious students were present along with PTA executive members, parents, priests, religious sisters, neighbors and well-wishers of Rogationist Academy. The cultural performance by the students and teachers of the Rogationist Academy added a special flavor to the entire program.
The Rogationist Academy, run by the Rogationists, was established in 2016 in a hamlet called Kunnumpuram, Desom, just 8 km from the Kochi International Airport.
