(27 agosto) P. Bruno Rampazzo, P. John Lucas, P. Dante Quidayan e Dcn. Gilbert Ben Cantarona hanno visitato la Gualandi Effata Catholic School for the Hearing Impaired Inc. e la proprietà della Piccola Missione per i Sordomuti a Cebu. Erano presenti 47 bambini sordi quando hanno visitato la scuola, gestita dalle Suore Gualandi sotto la direzione di Suor Susana Basidilla. Gli studenti sono iscritti alla scuola materna, elementare e media.
Nel dicembre 2023, il Dicastero del Vaticano per la Vita Consacrata ha approvato la fusione della Congregazione della Piccola Missione per i Sordomuti (PMS) con la Congregazione dei Rogazionisti. La proprietà e l'apostolato per i sordi della Piccola Missione di Cebu sono stati assegnati alla Provincia San Matteo.
Visit to the St. Matthew Province: Gualandi School for the Deaf in Cebu
(August 27) Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, Fr. John Lucas, Fr. Dante Quidayan and Dcn. Gilbert Ben Cantarona visited the Gualandi Effata Catholic School for the Hearing Impaired Inc. and the property of the Little Mission for the Deaf in Cebu. There were 47 deaf children present when they visited the school which is run by the Gualandi Sisters under the direction of Sr. Susana Basidilla. The students are enrolled in kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school.
In December 2023, the Vatican Dicastery for the Consecrated Life approved the merger of the Congregation of the Little Mission for the Deaf with the Congregation of the Rogationists. The property and the apostolate for the deaf of the Little Mission in Cebu have been assigned to the St. Matthew Province.
