È iniziato il corso annuale di formazione per i formatori rogazionisti. Sette confratelli provenienti da varie circoscrizioni e paesi stanno partecipando al programma per l'anno accademico 2025-2026. I partecipanti sono P. Andru Iroy (PSM, Filippine), P. Nguyen Truong Thinh Joseph (PSM, Vietnam), P. Tom Jun Lancin (PSM, Filippine), P. Aneesh Joseph (QPST, India), P. Eric Munyanganizi (QPSG, Ruanda), P. Yves Raoul Nouno (QPSG, Camerun), e P. Marcelo Ferreira Oliveira (PSL, Brasile). I primi sei sono già arrivati, mentre P. Marcelo dovrebbe arrivare a gennaio 2026.
Prima di venire a Roma, questi formatori lavoravano in case di formazione nelle Filippine (Cebu, Paranaque e Rogamina), in India (Aluva), in Brasile (Bauru), nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo (Butembo) e in Ruanda (Kabgayi).
Il programma ha tre fasi. La fase 1 è un corso di lingua italiana di 12 settimane, che si svolge da ottobre a gennaio. La fase 2 è un corso non accademico di un semestre per formatori presso la Pontificia Università Salesiana di Roma. Inizia il 16 febbraio 2026 e finisce il 30 maggio 2026. La fase 3 include visite a varie comunità in Italia, esercizi spirituali annuali, un pellegrinaggio a Messina e una serie di conferenze interne della durata di un mese incentrate sul carisma e sulle pratiche pedagogiche per trasmetterlo alle generazioni future. La fase 3 è prevista per giugno e luglio 2026. Durante il programma, i formatori risiedono presso la Curia Generale a Roma.
Rome: Formation of Rogationist Formators
The annual formation course for Rogationist formators has begun. Seven confreres from various circumscriptions and countries are participating in the program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The participants are Fr. Andru Iroy (SMP, Philippines), Fr. Nguyen Truong Thinh Joseph (SMP, Vietnam), Fr. Tom Jun Lancin (SMP, Philippines), Fr. Aneesh Joseph (STQP, India), Fr. Eric Munyanganizi (SJQP, Rwanda), Fr. Yves Raoul Nouno (SJQP, Cameroon), and Fr. Marcelo Ferreira Oliveira (SLP, Brazil). The first six have already arrived, and Fr. Marcelo is scheduled to arrive in January 2026.
Before coming to Rome, these formators were assigned to formation houses in the Philippines (Cebu, Paranaque, and Rogamina), India (Aluva), Brazil (Bauru), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Butembo), and Rwanda (Kabgayi).
The program has three phases. Phase 1 is a 12-week Italian language course that runs from October to January. Phase 2 is a one-semester, non-academic course for formators at the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. It starts on February 16, 2026, and concludes on May 30, 2026. Phase 3 includes visits to various communities in Italy, annual spiritual exercises, a pilgrimage to Messina, and a month-long series of in-house conferences focused on the charism and pedagogical practices for transmitting it to future generations. Phase 3 is scheduled for June and July 2026. The formators reside at the General Curia in Rome during the program.
