Ninety young men attended the annual year-end vocation orientation in the two Seminaries of Rogationist St. Matthew on December 27-30. Forty-five youths from the Provinces of Luzon and the Tagalog-speaking islands went to Fr. Hannibal Formation Center in Paranaque, while another forty-five young men from the Visayas and Mindanao Provinces partook the search-in program in St. Hannibal Formation Center in Cebu. Rogationist speakers talked about vocation in general, the primacy of prayer and discernment, the Vocation to Rogationist Priesthood and Brotherhood.

The Rogationist St. Thomas Quasi Province, India rejoices today with the family of Fr. Sibin Poovely and St. Sebastian's Church Nayathode for the ordination to the presbiterate of Fr. Sibin Poovely. The ordination celebration started with a warm reception to the ordaining prelate and to deacon Sibin by the parish priest and the parish community at 9:15 am. The parish priest extended a warm welcome to bishop Jose Puthenvettil and to all the invited guests. The Major Superior Fr. Shajan Pazhayil assisted the ordination ceremony as the archdeacon.

A word of thanksgiving to our pioneer rogationist fathers who came to Mexico in 2004 and who began, in 2005, the first Christmas Fest for needy children. Thank you very much to Fr. Vito Di Marzio, Fr. Rene Panlasigui and Fr. Edwin Manio. God bless them!

            Since they started this event here in Mexico, we have continued it for two main reasons. Frist, it is an expression of our rogationist charism and, second, to imitate the love Saint Hannibal Mary Di Francia had for the poor children.

21 dicembre 2016 – Nella giornata di ieri il Superiore Generale, P. Bruno Rampazzo, accompagnato dai Consiglieri Generali, ha consegnato all’Arcivescovo di Spoleto-Norcia, Mons. Renato Boccardo, la somma raccolta, € 10.000,00, per soccorrere le popolazioni provate dal terremoto che ha colpito l’Italia Centrale.
