The Rogate Ashram community welcomed the new priests of the Quasi Province to the center of studies, where they spend most of their years of formation. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly, the superior of the community, welcomed all who gathered to join in this thanksgiving celebration. Those who were invited were the Parents and closed family members of the new priests, benefactors of the community. The entire assembly joined the new priests to thank the Lord for the gift priesthood given to them. Fr. Robin Arackaparmbil presided over the Eucharist and Fr. Deepu Plathottathil delived the homily. At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the Major Superior addressed the assembly; thanking the parents and benefactors for their generosity through their material support and offering their children for the service of the Church. On behalf of the new priests, Fr. Jiby Edathiparamban thanked the entire community for all their support and encouragement.

Sarà aperta ai bambini dai 6 anni e funzionerà come una normale Scuola Primaria seguendone i curricola mini­steriali. Il potenziamento consiste nel fatto che, rispetto ad una tradizionale Suola Primaria, gli alunni avranno più ore di inglese (10 ore settimanali) comprensive di ore dedicate al dialogo con insegnante madrelingua (5 ore settimanali) e di CLIL (Content and Language Inte­grated Learning) che consiste nell’insegnamento di una o più materie curricolari in lingua inglese.

Le missionarie Rogazioniste della Provincia di San Lucas si sono riunite dall'11 al 17 gennaio 2016 presso il seminario rogazionista di Curitiba (Paraná-Brasile) per il ritiro e l'assemblea annuale. "Discepole e missionarie del Rogate a servizio della messe", le missionarie si sono messe nuovamente all'ascolto del Vangelo del Rogate: "Vedendo le folle, ne sentì compassione..." (Mt 9, 36). Gli esercizi, condotti da P. Matteo Sanavio, Consigliere Generale per il laicato e le parrocchie, sono stati preceduti da un giorno di missione presse le famiglie povere della periferia di Criciuma e hanno visto la presenza anche di P. Juarez Albino Destro, Superiore Provinciale, e di P. Gilson Luiz Maia, Consigliere Provinciale per il laicato e il Rogate. Al termine dell'assemblea, domenica 17, presso la cappella del Sacro Cuore di Curitiba, tre missionarie rogazioniste hanno emesso la loro prima professione, mentre altre 13 hanno rinnovato i voti. Alle nostre care sorelle nel carisma un augurio di santa perseveranza!

Fr. Herman Abcede with Bro. Nilo Pelobello and Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun just completed their Canonical Visit to the the community of the St. Anthony's Boys Village (SABV) in Silang, Cavite, Philippines. The visit, which included encounters with the students, teachers, workers and members of the religious community from the different entities under the SABV, lasted from the January 19 until January 22, 2016.

Fr. Deepu Plathottathil was ordained priest on January 21, 2016, by his eminence Archbishop George Njaralakkatt, the archbishop of Tellissery diocese. The celebration started on the previous day with the prayer in the house of Fr. Deepu. All the Rogationists religious, the relatives of Fr. Deepu, gathered in the house as he was moving to the bishop's house for the immediate preparation. The family friend of Fr. Deepu, Bishop Georges Varkey Puthiyakulangara, from the diocese of Port-Bergé, Madagascar, graced the prayer service with his message to the family and to Fr. Deepu. The following day for the ordination ceremony Fr. Shajan Pazhayil served as the archdeacon. It was very beautiful celebration and Rogationists fathers, religious students, novices, postulants and seminarians participated in the celebration. Relatives, friends and benefactors joined in the celebration to thank the Lord for the gift of priesthood conferred upon Fr. Deepu Plathottathil. During the felicitation meeting, representing the Quasi Province, the Major Superior congratulated the family and parish community of Fr. deepu for offering two of their sons to the Rogationist congregation and to the Church, Fr. James and Fr. Deepu Plathottathil. He encouraged the parish community to continue to show their generosity in promoting and encouraging vocations to the Church.

Il 3 gennaio si ricorda il Nome SS.mo di Gesù. Nella storia e tradizione rogazionista esso assume una importanza straordinaria, voluta e codificata dal santo Fondatore Annibale Maria Di Francia. L’intero mese di gennaio è consacrato al Nome SS.mo di Gesù, la cui devozione è tra le primarie nella prassi liturgica Rogazionista, di grande importanza. Secondo il pensiero del Fondatore tale importanza non deve mai scemare. Il Nome di Gesù, scrive egli stesso "Non vuol dire le quattro lettere che lo compongono, ma vuol dire Gesù Cristo Incarnato che nasce, cresce, muore e risorge per la salute del mondo. Vuol dire G. C. nella sua divina persona, nella sua celeste dottrina, nelle opere mirabilissime del suo amore. Vuol dire G. C. che siede alla destra del Padre in cielo e in terra dimora sempre in seno alla sua Chiesa nel SS.mo Sacramento dell’altare nel quale di fa ostia continua di propiziazione e cibo sovra sostanziale e quotidiano di ogni anima. Questo è il Nome di Gesù. Pronunziare Gesù vuol dire richiamare al pensiero tutti i misteri del suo amore, della sua sapienza, della carità del suo dolcissimo amore". (Scritti, vol. 52, p. 161). January. 14, 2016. Fr. Robin Arackaparambil was ordained priest by his excellency Mar Jose porunnedom, the bishop of Manathawady. The rogationist religious from all the communities, friends and benefactors graced the celebration with their valuable presence. At the end of the celebration Fr. Shajan Pazhayil thanked the parents and parish community for offering fr. Robin to the church and to the rogationist congregation.
