From February 26 until March 1, 2016, Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior, made his Canonical Visit to the St. Hannibal Formation Center in Punta Princesa, Cebu City. Fr. Alfonso Heredia, the Superior of the Seminary, the Vice Superior, Fr. Nicolas Villora, with Fr. Rogie Quinga, the Prefect of Discipline led the community in welcoming warmly the visitators. Bro. Nilo Pelobello, the Provincial Treasure, who also came for the visit, checked on the matters related to the house's administration of its goods, assisted by Fr. Mariano Rondael, Jr., the community Treasurer and Fr. Francis Paul Escaño, the Dean of the Seminary College, with Fr. Tommy Latina, the Assistant Prefect of Studies. During the fraternal visit, which was highlighted by Fr. Herman's encounters with the Religious, individually and as a group, the visitators were fortunate to witness the successful Vocation Camp organized by Fr. Ronnie Gumagay, in collaboration with the members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations (UPV) of Cebu. Fr. Herman and Bro. Nilo also had the opportunity to meet with the seminarians, the members of the UPV, with the Avignone Clinic volunteers and with the Seminary personnel, all of which were documented by the Provincial Secretary, Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun. Thanks to the Religious in Practical Training - Bro. Andru Iroy, Bro.Reggie Akiatan, Bro. Yoseph Emanuel Rua and Bro. Bryan Tutas - for assisting the community and the visitators in the entire duration of the Canonical Visit. May God bless us all!

Prezados coirmãos, com muita alegria comunicamos que nesta noite do dia 28 de fevereiro de 2016, aqui na sede da Paróquia Nossa Senhora de Fátima, em Vitorino Freire, Maranhão, estaremos assumindo uma nova Missão Rogacionista. A celebração está marcada para às 19:30, com a presença do Bispo de Bacabal, Dom Armando Martín Gutiérrez.

As sementes do Rogate chegam com mais vigor a estas terras maranhenses!
A paróquia compreende três municípios, conforme os desenhos em anexo: Altamira do Maranhão (cidade natal do Padre Reinaldo), Brejo de Areia e Vitorino Freire. Padre João Inácio Rodrigues, responsável da Estação Missionária e pároco, está bastante animado e aguarda a visita e as orações de vocês.
Após a ordenação sacerdotal do diácono Sérgio do Prado, a Comunidade Missionária estará completa. Em abril Padre Adair, animador vocacional da região sul do Brasil, estará ajudando nos trabalhos desta missão, e na semana santa teremos a presença de alguns religiosos nesta paróquia.

O caminho a ser percorrido é o
da interioridade, do silêncio.
É Quaresma, tempo propício
para uma profunda reflexão a respeito de
nossos pensamentos e ações, palavras e
gestos. Há um mundo a gritar por atitudes
mais éticas e de cuidado, pois a “lama” leva
tudo a perder, encobre o que era belo e
concreto. A “lama” do desafeto, do poder
econômico, da corrupção, da degradação
humana frente a um modismo global
narcisista e competidor tomou conta
de nossas belas paisagens naturais e de
nossa consciência ética. É preciso pausar
e silenciar diante de tudo isso. E nesse
caminho, o da escuta, temos muito o que
resgatar e contemplar. É hora de mudar,
mas permanecer o mesmo: testemunhas
do amor-doação de Cristo. É paradoxal,
mas é legítimo. O essencial já nos basta.
O que deve ser alterado é a nossa maneira
de agir frente a todo tipo de injustiça.
Há uma força feminina que age na
história, na Vida Consagrada. Daí partem
nossas esperanças de um mundo melhor.
Celebrar a mulher é reconhecer sua
coragem e sua eficácia frente a tantas realidades
de dores transformadas por sua luta
diária em garantir seu reconhecimento
numa sociedade patriarcal e racista.
O Tempo Quaresmal nos faz lembrar
também que não existe vocação sem a
perspectiva da cruz, as dificuldades do
caminho, sem os espinhos que carregamos
sobre nossas cabeças. Essa estrada
só se completará com a ressurreição, a
vitória da vida sobre a morte. Chega
um momento em que nos sentimos
na escuridão, mas a força da oração e
da certeza de que não estamos sós e
de que a luz vence as trevas deve nos
levar a repetir com os discípulos de
Emaús: “Fica conosco, Senhor...” (Lc 24, 29).

Dal 13 al 21 febbraio 2016, presso i locali della Parrocchia di S. Annibale Maria e S. Antonio a Piazza Asti è stato allestito un museo temporaneo di San Pio da Pietrelcina, con oggetti appartenuti al santo della misericordia. Tra le preziose reliquie, si sono potute ammirare alcune lettere autografe di San Pio, il confessionale, la culla, qualche vestito e l'altare in cui ha celebrato la sua ultima messa.

Dal 19 al 22 febbraio 2016, P. Angelo A. Mezzari, Superiore Generale, P. Eros Borile, Responsabile dell’Ufficio Missionario Centrale e P. Matteo Sanavio, Consigliere Generale per le parrocchie e il laicato, visitano la Comunità religiosa di Barjols, nella Provenza Francese, nel dipartimento del Var. In quel luogo i nostri religiosi della Quasi Provincia San Giuseppe: P. Fidéle Twagirumukiza, responsabile della Comunità, P. Jean Marcel Noumbissie Moumeni, economo, e Fr. Daniel Song Balog, magisteriante, curano la pastorale di ben 8 parrocchie in un contesto rurale. Nel fine settimana i Padri hanno potuto avere numerosi incontri con i laici impegnati nella pastorale delle parrocchie e hanno potuto incontrare il Vicario Generale della diocesi di Frejus Toulon, Mons. Fréderic Forel. Oltre ad una verifica della prima presenza rogazionista in Francia in questa nuova modalità, P. Angelo ha proceduto a consultare i religiosi nell’apta consultatio per il rinnovo del Governo della Quasi Provincia. Nel fine settimana, accompagnando i Padri locali nella pastorale e nelle celebrazioni liturgiche, P. Angelo ha potuto visitare, oltre alla chiesa madre di Barjols, le parrocchie di Tavernes, Fox Amphoux, Montmeyan, St. Martin de Pallières, Varages, Pontevès e Chateauvert. Domenica si è partecipato anche ad un pranzo con i poveri, organizzato dalla caritas parrocchiale di Barjols. P. Angelo ha ringraziato la comunità religiosa di Barjols per l’accoglienza e il servizio che sta svolgendo nella Provenza Francese. L’augurio è che queste parrocchie possano riscoprire la bellezza del cristianesimo dopo un lungo inverno di secolarismo, e che l’aiuto della nostra comunità religiosa sia un segno per risvegliare un nuovo impegno missionario e vocazionale da parte di tutti.

La mostra composta dei oggetti artistici dell'africa, è stata realizzata progressivamente da padre Arturo Mele durante e dopo l'esperienza missionaria in Rwanda. Si tratta di immagini, di quadri, di statue in legno, pelli di animali ecc. Da giovedì, 11/02/2016 a domenica 15/02/2016, Padre Venuste Sibomana e Padre Ndahimana Jean Baptiste, siamo andati a Oria per dare una mano alla comunità di Oria al fine di sistemare la mostra degli oggetti preziosi africani specialmente del Rwanda (cf. le foto in allegato). Questo Museo realizzato da Padre Arturo MELE, nella Casa di Oria, ci manifesta una straordinaria predisposizione d’amore verso la missione nella terra africana. Possiamo affermare che questi oggetti artistici, costituiscono un segno profondo di una missione inculturata e un fondamento per leggere l’inizio della storia della missione rogazionista in Africa. Quello che è essenziale, è prendere in considerazione lo spirito di determinazione e di coraggio che ha caratterizzato i primi missionari che hanno iniziato quest’opera di diffondere il rogate nell'Africa, imitando l'esempio carismatico di sant’Annibale Maria Di Francia. Per diffondere il Rogate in questa terra hanno saputo conciliare il vangelo e la cultura, non in parole ma in pratica, senso della vera inculturazione, perché, l’uno non esclude l’altro.

Questo Museo è molto utile, può offrire un’opportunità per fare conoscere, in un certo modo, ai fedeli e amici che lo vistano, la presenza e la missione dei Rogazionisti in Africa e specificamente in Rwanda.

The Canonical Visit of Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior of the St. Matthew Province to the community of the St. Anthony’s Boys Village-Davao just ended. Fr. Ronald Masilang, the Superior of the house facilitated the visit, during which meetings with the religious, both individually and as a group were done. Fr. Herman took the chance to encounter as well the personnel of the Boys Village, and the teachers and staff of the Rogationist Academy-Davao, the intern and extern students of which were also meet in different occasions. The visitators also had the chance to visit the lands in Digos City and in Inawayan. They also took time meeting the Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Finance Council of the St. John Paul II Sub-Parish, whose administration was entrusted to the Rogationists by the Bishop of Digos. Bro. Nilo Pelobello, the Provincial Treasurer checked on the documents of related to the Administration of the goods of the House and of the School, assisted by Fr. Tirso Alcover and Fr. Kristian Taok. Bro. Kenneth Cortez, the Prefect of the interns, provided Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun with the documents related to the operations of the Boys Village, after the Archives of the House was inspected. Fr. Antonio Nocellado and Fr. Carlo Balaguer, who were both actively collaborating in the activities of the School and the Sub-Parish, respectively, also helped in facilitating the varied activities during the visit. Thanks to the assistance of Bro. Clenton Oplas, Bro. Petrus Marianus and Bro. Joseph In Soon Choi, the brothers in Practical Training, and of course, to the postulants having the Exposure in the community. The visit lasted from the 13^th until the 20^th of February, 2016.

Sabato 23 gennaio 2016 l’Istituto dei Padri Rogazionisti ha aperto le porte per accogliere genitori e bambini che vogliono accedere alla nuova scuola primaria, potenziata in lingua inglese. È questa la nuova proposta educativa e scolastica che l’Istituto intende avviare a partire dal prossimo anno scolastico 2016/2017. La scuola sarà aperta ai bambini dai 6 anni e funzionerà come una normale Scuola Primaria seguendone i curricola ministeriali. 

19 febbraio 2016 – Nel fine settimana che si apre il Superiore Generale, P. Angelo A. Mezzari, accompagnato dal Consigliere Generale, P. Matteo Sanavio, e dal Direttore dell’UMC, P. Eros Borile, si reca in visita alla Comunità Stazione Missionaria di Barjols (Francia), aperta dalla Quasi Provincia San Giuseppe dallo scorso 28 maggio 2015. La Comunità, che svolge apostolato parrocchiale, è composta da P. Fidele Twagirumukiza, Responsabile, P. Jean Marcel Noumissie, Economo, e Fr. Daniel Song Balog, Magisteriante.
